It is more likely that LSU goes 8-5 than they make a deep run in the CFP.

Kirby is clearly #1. But beyond that it becomes a muddled mess. One could certainly make the argument Dabo should be #2 based on his accomplishments. Most people myself included would put Day and Cignetti ahead of him. But a person could make a logical argument he is number 2. A lot of what people think about Dabo will come down to this year. If he has a solid season and makes the playoffs last season will be written off as an anomaly.

He has a chance to make a statement in game one.

So accomplishments don't always trump hypotheticals, as you said earlier.

Just another captdalton self contradiction. Yet again.

Fair enough. I think you’re wrong but we’ll see. I think lsu wins at least a first round game of the playoffs…after that, hard to say. So, in your opinion who are the 5 losses?

Lame Kiffin has never made the playoffs at his new school or in the NFL. The key is first year at a new school or the NFL. Kirby Smart and Nick Saban failed to do it too.

Ole Miss
Texas A&M
Alabama
Texas

By then the team has opted out and they lose to whoever they play in the Texas Bowl.

If he goes 8-5 at LSU this season this place will be magical.
Every college sports site on the Internet will be magical.

They think he is some miracle working coach. He has never won anything.

No, but Tennessee in Neyland may be a problem for them.

I don't think you realize how deficient this LSU roster is. Texas, for instance, is better at 21/22 positions, the only place LSU is better is TE1

Good so you won’t be crying after we win then

OU is highly ranked and Tennessee is lowly ranked.

If I was to pick it would be Kiffin. I think he is a much better offensive mind.

But he makes terrible mistakes also, so I feel like both are over-rated.

Hey Rodo,
Can we get vidtiger23's qualifier in the thread title please. It'll help us to make a fair comparison. Kiffin having a 16 year resume and Sarkisian with 12 isn't enough information for comparison. Thanks

, but comparing a year 6 coach at a school throwing tons of money around to a year 1 coach at a school coming off a rocky season and just getting started is at best laughable.
