Special willie's concept of math is amazing. It's like saying the top 10 in NFL interceptions thrown all suck even though 7 of them are in the HOF. Special willie always good for a laugh.

What he fails to realize is that Alabama has won more CFP games than anybody else.

Oh he doesn't fail to realize it, he just hasn't come up with better material so he keeps going back to the dry well.

You can't take seriously someone who runs and hides the moment his team loses and dickrides any team that manages what his couldn't. It's pretty sad, but he needs this so just let him have it.

Oh and pretend he's smart and let him think that too. He's really needed the boost as of late.

He thinks more about Bama than I think about sex, and I am a fan of both......

Saban built the program

The Dolphins are still recuperating from his success as their HC.

As I stated above or in another thread (not going to look it up) Alabama was placed on sanctions. Coach Fran ran away from Alabama because of it.

Alabama will be fine when Saban leaves. They won’t be in the playoff every year like they are now, but really no one besides them is anyway. I would love to see them have a losing season again though for the shits and giggles the gumps wouldn’t know what to do with themselves after 15 years at the top.

Considering Alabama won more titles than any other SEC team before Saban, I suppose it's a pretty good bet.

Won 1 in 30 years before Saban.

You had the 2 best coaches of all time.
So it's not automatic that yall will continue to play for title ever other year

While correct, Alabama suffered sanctions for 10 of those years and had a BOT and President that were idiots. In 1987, they could have hired Coach Bowden, so probably wins at least 2 more titles during that time.

You aren't showing the full picture for how good Alabama was in the 90's, They lost 4 games from 1991-1995. They finished 1st/2nd in the West half the decade, just couldn't get over the Spurrier hump in the title game besides 92. Throwing out the Carroll years, how many conference/national titles has USC won since the 70's?

Really the SEC was pretty weak in the 90s, as evidenced by Florida typically losing when they played the best teams from other conferences.

Compared to the 80s? At least the SEC won 3 NCs in the 90s compared to the 1 in the 80s.

LSU has been able to win titles with boneheaded coaches after Saban built the program.

Alabama was a powerhouse before Saban, but what Saban has done cannot be replicated. Will Bama be able to win a few titles here and there like LSU has been able to do after Saban?

so long as they go hire a good coach, absolutely. wont take a great coach, just like miles and O were not great.

I cant imagine a world where bama suddenly drops off a cliff. will they take a small step back....prolly but jesus their current run is insane and has never been duplicated.

2) (and this is the big one) BOT and President Thomas had the chance to hire Coach Bobby Bowden in the late 80's. If that happens I would assume that Alabama wins more championships

Spurrier & Bowden were both potential "hires" at LSU, if we're playing "what if's"

Not to mention, Bo Rein (RIP) never coached a game at LSU and he was potentially a grand slam hire.
