True but complaining about losing players to OM is a bad look.

Rev share has a hard cap (approx $20.5 mil). Think of it like an NFL salary cap. Of course in college there is still separate NIL money being thrown around. But Ole Miss guaranteed Prince some rev share money. In order for LSU (or anyone else) to break that contact they owe Ole Miss that amount of rev share money. So, in this scenario, I've heard that LSU owes OM $500-700k of it's rev share amount.

The potential issue arises if LSU has already divided out their entire rev share amount - there would not be any left to pay OM and break this contact.
