You a hoe and I hope you live with discomfort in your left foot forever.
Saw we have 1 commit and few entrants.

Jay said most of next year’s team is on the roster already. And that they will be extremely picky in the portal this year. Which is pretty easy to see looking at the team. Only a few spots will legitimately be up for grabs.

The year after that will be a lot of new for sure though.

We expect to lose some production to eligibility and the draft this year

This year we will be looking for INF,1B, maybe a back up catcher and definitely stud pitchers.

Jay is smarter than everyone

Jay can see the future. He threw the way he did on Sunday to make sure his pitchers got work and were put in tough situations. It’s all to benefit us down the stretch. He threw that game so Evans could realize his true potential.

I wouldn’t even say this is good pitching that is skunking us.
We haven’t played them this year which is wild to say. How is their line up? Who do they have left to pitch?
Was listening to OTB. Jay was on and he told TBob that he had to recruit a kid from the Chicago area once he moved there. He named the kid though. I always thought you couldn’t do that?

0 plate presence tonight

Been a trend.

Their starter is going to throw a complete game shut out at this pace.

We hit into the shift and they hit away. Just the way it goes.

Schmidt

I know we need arms on the weekend. Just 5 pitchers isn’t sustainable. Schmidt has the best stuff on the staff. I think we need to keep him on the midweek like we did for Anderson last year. Maybe 1-2 innings on the weekends. Let him start 2-3 innings on mid week. That the approach they took with Kade and it turned out well. They didn’t really use him on weekends until late year/post season.

We do need guys to step up and just throw strikes.

Chalk one up for the never bunt crowd.

Basketball would you rather?

Would you rather be top of the league every 3 years in basketball by not putting any in nil for 2 years and then go all in for 1 year or be middle of the pack every year?
I don’t care if they are good either. Focus nil else where.
My only concern is that Baker will take the entire defensive staff with him when he goes to a a HC job next year leaving us with a 10th coach on the DL in the recent years. No consistency.

Did Antoine miss his calling?
We play in a non HR friendly park.
