Barring a miracle turn around Luke is gone with the wind at the end of this season. But do you can him now, put RichRod in his place, and run the risk that RR does just good enough to land the head coaching gig? Appointing the interim HC is partly why Ole Miss is having the problems they are.

Interim Chancellor and Interim AD. Luke probably OK until those positions are permanently filled.

Why should Luke get fired? The guy had to deal with severe sanctions the past couple seasons. He should be given a clean slate and get at least two or three more years.

Nope. He was. Brought in to take the Freeze beatings. Happy as hell to get paid that salary. Ole Miss family will take care of him after he leaves.

Agreed. This is his first year to coach with NCAA sanctions expired, and finally with a full roster. He deserves a chance to finally build the program without restrictions. This is also his first year with his coaches, and not Freeze holdovers, at coordinator positions.
Matt Luke is an Ole Miss institution and it would not be a good look for them to give up on him. I think they should extend him and give him a $20 million buy out to show their commitment to him.

The saddest part for the sec is fat luke is only the 3rd or 4th worst coach in the conference
