Saban made lsu relevant, showed the world what can be done at lsu. Really without him I doubt yall have the 3 titles.
I doubt it too. I don't think Saban made LSU and I don't think LSU made Saban. I just think Saban was smart enough to see what could be done there.

Dinardo brought back the magic. Saban took it to the next level.

Man, we criticize lots of coaching for being at programs and not winning championships. People crown Saban the GOAT and so forth. However, without LSU's talent ot Bama's talent, Saban never came close to winning shyt before. Dabo, Urban, hell LOTS of coaches could win at LSU and Bama. In fact, even the 2 HC's after Saban has won.
Funny how we talk shyt about other coaches not being able to win it all at their respective schools but the fact is Saban more than likely couldn't win at those same schools either.
Amazing how once Saban came to LSU, he became a better coach...and a legend at Bama. GTFO about Saban the GOAT and LSU luckiness. Before Saban came to LSU he took azz whoopings just like every other coach. Urban Meyers was a MUCH better coach prior to him going to Florida. UM was a better coach pre-UF than Saban was pre-LSU. I know many hate to hear that but it's fact.
LSU was ripe with talent and Saban capitalized on it. Just as Dabo capitalized on Clemson being ripe with talent. UGA is also in the same boat. Smart will eventually capitalize as well.
Since Saban has been at Bama, how many times has he taken the field with a less-talented team than his? How many games has he won against opponents that he should've lost to? How hard is it to win when over 90% of the time you take the field, you have the more talented team by a looong shot? Now answer me this, how many times while Sylvester Croom was the HC of Moo St. did he field a team more talented than Bama? How many times did he beat Bama?
Those are better measures to judge coaches. ..winning against more talented teams.
