So many built in advantages.. like, unreal advantages, especially when you consider what MSU, Arkansas, and Ole Miss has to deal with….yet most years they don’t do shite. How embarrasing.

The University of LSU has more nattys in the past 20 years than anyone other than Bama.

Ole Miss can't even make the playoffs

Pre 2000, it was a competition between LSU and Georgia. Don’t think I’d say LSU has underachieved since 2000.

Since 2000:

3 NC's
5 SEC Championships
6 TOP 5 rankings
9 TOP 10 rankings
18 TOP 25 rankings

Not bad considering their divisional opponent had the greatest run in CFB during that same period.

Nearly all programs don't do shite most years.
Outside of Alabama, LSU has the most championships and appearances since the turn of the century.

As it turns out, I agree with you. LSU should at least have 3 more titles, maybe 4. Their built-in advantages and fortunate location relative to the best football players can overwhelm pretty much everyone else. And in 2019, they did.

A&M are the new kids on the block.

2012-infinity Texas A&M
1984-2015 Georgia
1959-2000 LSU

That image is missing the most important part:

The man standing next to Joe.

Ed couldn’t even make a bowl at Old Miss

Before Saban they weren’t much. LSU fans act like college football only started in 2000.

This barb might’ve stuck when people first started throwing it out in 2007 or so. We’re almost a quarter of the way through this century and most kids playing ball now weren’t even born before 2000…

BEFORE LSU Saban wasn't much. See how that works?

We were I think 12th all time in wins circa 1999. People think LSU pre-2000 and all they remember is the 90’s but LSU was a very good program from the 30’s through the 80’s. Not elite but very good.

LSU was 12th all time in total wins before 2000 ahead of many notable programs, such as Arkansas.

and now they're at the level of storming the field against Ole Miss twice within 10 years. Sad.
