Kiffin is the best. Possibly the best in the country.

He sucked against Ole Miss, Arkansas, and LSU last year. He really sucked again against Arkansas this year, and there were long spurts of nothing in the Ole Miss game. I missed every other Bama game except the Championship game. He called a pretty good one there.

And this is why I mentioned that some time should probably pass before any sort of judgement is made.

Any guy you care to mention is going to have a boneheaded day or two. You've got to be able to take the entire body of work into consideration.

If Barnett lives up to his potential, he could end up being a very, very dangerous player. With Kiffin's track record of developing our QBs, doubly so.

So you only saw 3 Alabama games this year.
You aren't the most qualified to answer this question.

When you have a defense like bama this year it makes the offense very easy to call. You can take chances others can't with that D. He's a good OC, fwiw.

Yes, but that doesn't change the fact the thousands of Bama fans on this site were saying how terrible he was after the Ole Miss game

I wouldn't say he sucked against Arkansas. He did what he had to do to win the game. He also didn't throw the pick that kept the game so close for 3 quarters.

Having a shite tier defense didn't keep AU from declaring Gus an offensive genius, so why should having a great one keep Kiffin from being called the best OC?

I saw enough in the national championship game to know he hasn't changed a bit. He is a poor man's Mike Leach. He cost Saban the natty last year and almost again this year. He got lucky as hell with the onside kick and the deep ball prayer when the offense couldn't get a first down because his arse tightened up and he kept running Henry into the middle of the pile and then throw a standard drop back pass on 3rd down. It was terrible.

You know your reasoning makes absolutely no sense, right?

Can you imagine what Lane will be able to do with the receiving core we have coming back? Foster, Ridley, Stewart, etc..

If Barnett lives up to the hype, look the frick out!

Both of Kiffins offenses have over achieved at Bama.

Without Kiffin last year, Bama does not win the SEC or the NChampionship this year.

It will be a bloodbath for the SEC next year, and maybe Saban will let Lane finally run it up on Tenner and Lyle.

The only reason bama won the national championship this year was defense. They didn't play great in the ship, but they bailed the offense out several games. You're an Alabama fan, how do you not know this.
