I know this is hard to imagine, but the 2020 UGA offense =/= the 2021 UGA offense

Absolutely not, that defense was younger and still trying to adjust to a system that baffles me weekly.
Bryce is improving every week. UGA offense is not UF, Ole Miss or even Leach's MSU.

Kentucky runs the LA Rams offense with extremely complicated movements. They’re about as modern and complicated as they come.
Complicated perhaps. Modern meh. The fact is offensively they’re using a scheme that won’t work when everyone across from you is more athletic and talented.

KJ Jefferson has looked good against everyone else and Briles has been heralded as one of the most innovative play callers in the country.
They’re a run first offense with nobody that could present a legitimate vertical threat, and a freshly gimpy QB when they played UGA. Briles may be innovative but much like with Kentucky, he’s pretty limited by what’s on the roster
It’s not UGA’s fault their schedule doesn’t possess many offensively dangerous teams. It is what it is. But to think it doesn’t help that most of what UGA faces plays into its strengths seems kind of silly

Leach's MSU.

Yes, with regards to being unconventional and effective. Does UGA throw the ball 60 times a game?
Appreciate the votes from Bama board, so grown up of you Saint

Have you adjusted for the offenses they’ve played?
They make every offense look bad.
Arky and AU both were scoring pretty well, except for the GA game.

Auburns averaging 39 per game, 10 vs UGA
Arkansas averaging 37 per game, 0 vs UGA
UK averaging 34 per game, 13 vs UGA
(Avgs vs. teams other than UGA)

Um, ok.
He doesn’t. Is he good? Yeah he’s good, but he doesn’t scare anyone. I feel better about our chances against Bama than I would against Ole Miss if they had Corral. He’ll get massacred vs Georgia. I fear for the kid’s health, honestly. He’s smaller than Tua, isn’t he?

They’ve scored over 30 ONE TIME

What does this even mean? They’re scoring less points vs arguably worse opponents but they’re doing it differently!

Kirby Smart is a defensive guru. I think we all know that. He and Saban were a match made in Heaven while they were at Alabama together. Georgia's performance this year has been stellar to say the least and anyone who is doubting their defensive prowess due to who they have played needs to get their head checked. This is the best defense - statistically speaking - college football has seen in the last 10 years.
It will be interesting to see how they perform against a more prolific offense but my money says they will cause any opposing offense fits.

Dude, if you have seen our coverage schemes you would understand concerns with defending that many passes. UGA passing half that many times is no concern.
What do you consider Georgia's best win?

Mississippi State is so lethal they just scored no TDs.

Both would wax the floor with Mississippi State btw

You missed the point but appreciate the best win context. Auburn/Kentucky,letting that marinate.

I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure we have the higher ranked o by most metrics

But nothing that raises concerns. Just being measured and trying to get a quantified reason for concern with UGA offense.

I asked you point blank if Miss st O was better than UGAs. You said yes, citing “unconventionality and effectiveness”.

Their front 7 is as good as I've seen. They can be had in the secondary though if they play an offense that can exploit that.
Auburn moved the ball fairly well, compared to what I was expecting, and would have scored at least 3 touchdowns if not for multiple dropped passes.
The good news for UGA is Bama is the only team that can even hope to challenge them on both sides of the ball and they even seem a little down this year compared to usual.
I could see Bama beating them once, hard to see them doing it twice unless they have significant improvement on the OL.

It's an incredible defense. The only part of that defense that hasn't been tested by a real threat is the back end. I'd love to see them against a great passing team, but I'm not sure there are many of those. Ohio State probably, Oklahoma with Williams maybe.
Alabama has a chance to be interesting if some guys develop, but we'd struggle to break 25 I think. We wouldn't be able to run and we'd have a lot of drives blown up by sacks.
