Right! Lots of POed people around now that UGA has back to back natties and looking good for a third. They better learn to live with it. Georgia is positioned for years and years of winning

Amazed that you think that is what this is about. Wow.

Pretty consistent in calling this out. It's a sad state that any college would do thus.

Funny Gator fans worrying about UGA when they’ve been pissing down their leg on and off the field for a generation

But did it? Or did happen because some college kids were drunk, speeding, at 2 something in the morning. It’s tragic but didn’t just happen, a series of choices led directly to this event. Nothing changes it but you can hold people and if applicable organizations. If university funds or a university car was used then the investigation needs to determine where the breakdown was, and hold people accountable.

It is well known who owns the vehicle. I don't know who it is but the state does and it is a matter of public record and was withing minutes of the police arriving on the scene. The only mystery remaining about the ownership of the vehicle is that it must be irrelevant to any sensationalism that sells ad space. if there was a scandal involved with the owner of the vehicle that info would be well known instead of a matter of speculation.

So what does using university funds look like in this situation??? Seriously, is it being suggested that UGA or the AD told these young women to take these guys out and show them a good time and oh, by the way, here is a UGA credit card to pay the bill??? Surely no one believes that happened without some smoking gun type evidence, again that would be readily available and on every news story about this event, do they? Does anyone sincerely thing it is possible that UGA is going to hand an employee a credit card or a PO number and tell that person to take a group of high profile athletes to a strip club and buy a single round, let alone pay for anything else? What bizarro world do y'all live in? Only a crazed individual would dream up such a scenario. And in this instance that person has been driven insane because their football team can't compete with UGA on the field. That is SIICK.

We already knew the important details of the tragedy. All that was added into it is which bar the college kids went to, which isn’t newsworthy.

Sorry. But a staffer taking a player in a company rental to a strip club is news worthy because had the staffer not done that, they would not have been in that accident.

Bwg to differ when a company rental is used and a staffer is evolved at a University that takes tax money from the people of that state.

It certainly is the business of the people.

Had he left on his own and driven himself, you have a point and there would not be this discussion.

I doubt tax money is involved. It’s my understaffing that the athletic programs are supported by private donations and profits

Sorry to say but Toppers aint the only place in Clarke County to buy a drink....there are a heap o places in and around Athens to buy a drink. If Toppers closed today there'd be a place to buy a drink in the same location within a couple of weeks at most. It is irrelevant that they went to a "strip" club outside of sensationalism. They were young people doing the same thing that old people fondly remember.....

Again, the renter of the vehicle is not widely known because there is, apparently, nothing scandalous about it. It may well be a AD or Univesity rental that she had use of to perform her job duties. If so there is noting scandalous in that. Folks rent vehicles everyday using company accounts and go out and do all manner if stupid things in those cars. Government and private sector employees alike. The company isn't held accountable for that, the individual driver is. It may well be a black eye for the company as it would be for UGA but at the end of the day unless they knowingly allowed use of the vehicle by an impaired driver there is no scandal there.

UGA football players go to strip club with their recruiting associate at 2am while celebrating winning a title (red flag).

What the frick are you even talking about? In what way is this a red flag?

Where do Florida fans and Auburn fans (or any SEC fans for that matter) get off on acting like sanctimonious twats on this website? You had Urban Meyer for a coach and Aaron Hernandez on your roster. Your just got publicly humiliated for trying and failing to lure a high school recruit with a $14 million dollar NIL deal. Worry about your own dumpster fire, shitbag program.

NO PROOF?!?

Hell, it has been reported.

The cheater lawyers got on it fast - looks like they will be needed again.

BTW, Rush Propst knows more about football recruiting in Alabama and Georgia than just about anyone.

You mean the guy who cheats like hell and had two families at the same time, that didn't know the other one existed? That's who your hot source?

He wanted to keep working - it would be an interesting cross examination to see if payment was made to him on top of threats

We don't have to make payments. That's Milt McGreggor and Bobby Lowder thing. At least it was before the system went bankrupt.

Auburn eats UGA's garbage. Takes our players when we kick them out and gets only the students from Georgia that can't get into UGA. As the late, great Lewis Grizzard used to say "if you ain't the lead dog, the scenery never changes."

Russ Probst is a disgraced liar. He’s not a source and there is no credible evidence of any claim anyway. There are however, several credible individuals that refute his claim.

The families effected have the information and they aren’t suing the university.

It’s a smear piece by a dying newspaper on a matter substantially covered by local papers over a week ago.

Wrong. Have a trucker run over and kill a person on the road and that company will be sued!

If a staffer is using a car paid for by the University, then the news outlets will investigate and dig.

Sorry, but your post is not correct.

State employees such as the AD employee would be paid by tax money.

Really? Like Kirby makes every step with these kids? Goes home with them and helps them make every decision in their life? Makes dinner and tucks them into bed?

When you're on top, people come after you, no reason to be shocked or offended about it. Bad stuff happens everywhere but if you just won 2 natties you will have a target on your back 24/7. No one is going to feel sorry for you or cut you any slack, that's just the way it is. Fans and especially players should understand that.
