They should be ashamed because it makes you uncomfortable? Stop being blinded by your Dawg glasses and see the big picture with this situation. Obviously more information is needed but on the surface this is a fricked up situation.

They should be ashamed because of the way it makes the families and friends of the deceased feel. This is a tragedy, not a scandal. A good writer doesn’t waste their time sending it to the editor, and a good editor doesn’t approve it.

Why a person like you, who refuses to talk football, posts on a football board is a mystery to me. You are out of your element here, and have been since you decided to show up.

of course that goes along with

Georgia football the NEW biggest cheaters in the history of "amateur sports"

Just trying to keep up with Auburn:

"Auburn has had seven violations for various causes, the worst of which consisted of boosters paying players for performance. Players got paid to play and received "bonuses" for forced fumbles, touchdowns, interceptions etc. This happened while Pat Dye was the head coach, and reports indicate that Pat Dye himself was directly involved with helping players secure illegal loans from banks."

I talk football daily on here. I’m sorry it goes over your head. Does Royston have an adult kickball league or something so you can atleast pretend you can relate to sports?

It was a poorly published article, and the AJC should be ashamed. Same idea applies to your post.

Then name the parts that were not accurate.

You mean like saying "Why the hell was the program I entrusted to take care of my kid with a staffer at a strip club at 2am in a UGA rental!"???

It was a company car used to transport a player to a strip club and a staffer drove it!

2 people are dead due to that action alone! Had the staffer not done that, they would not have been on the road.

Man. You keep harping on a so called 30 million. And with no proof. It’s too bad AU doesn’t have big bucks. Maybe it’s time to move to a lesser conference where you might be able to compete.

Sometimes you will start a discussion, but you always run off when it reaches the point that proves your idiotic take to be wrong. When you get called out, you resort to recycled flames that look to be written by a high schooler.

Conveniently, You always show up with bad things happen to uga, but are never around when good things happen to uga.

Predictably, you were essentially MIA after uga destroyed the vols, and our back to back titles has kept you in the background. This is your worst nightmare.

It’s not a coincidence at all that you are invested in a sick thread like this rather than the national champion ones.

Accuracy is irrelevant, the necessity is nonexistent, and the look of the article is so terrible that their editor felt compelled to explain why it was written.

What’s the 30 mill you’re referring to? Is that what Milt McGreggor and Bobby Lowder owed Auburn players when y’all went bankrupt?

NO PROOF?!?

Hell, it has been reported.

The cheater lawyers got on it fast - looks like they will be needed again.

BTW, Rush Propst knows more about football recruiting in Alabama and Georgia than just about anyone.

He wanted to keep working - it would be an interesting cross examination to see if payment was made to him on top of threats

The number of folks who are feigning shock over this story are upset because their team and school can not compete with UGA on a football field. There are some, though, who are genuinely put out by the individuals involved and the thought that they may have been in more than a business relationship. There is an element of those people in any conversation. It may be against some rule at UGA but you can rest assured that young people who spend a lot of time together are going to get involved romantically from time to time and rules be damned. There is nothing anyone could do about it as everyone involved is an adult capable of making decisions and mistakes and it ain't nobodies business but the individuals involved.

The same is true for going to a strip club. Young folks go to strip clubs and stay to the early morning if the place is open that late. They will drink alcohol and look at naked women in these places. They may even touch a naked woman and, horror of horrors, get touched by one. Oh my god the horror...young people drinking and thinking about sex. It doesn't happen anywhere other than Athens. That may be why recruiting to Athens is going so smoothly while ain't nobody going to Gainseville.....

At the end of the day 2 young people are dead and several others lives are impacted in a way that no one deserves. From all outward appearances this young ADULTS who lived under a microscope were good people doing the same thing young people all over the world do and, like way too many have done and will do, 2 paid the ultimate price.
