All that money and Texas recruiting advantages just to go 7-5 every year. Not to mention 5-7 last year.

No he isn’t, but A&M being a “sleeping giant” is the biggest lie in college football history.

It's fitting. A&M might be the single most overrated athletic program in the all of the country.

One (1) top 4 finish in any of football, basketball and baseball over the past 80+ years

Good Lawd.

Jimbo owns more real estate in the collective swamp minds of LA than the Martins.

Quick tell a gay joke or post some tired old stupid shite about Yell Leaders.

Everyone knows it's all you have.

No, it's not all we have.

All anyone has to do is state the facts about aggie athletics and the debate/conversation is over.

How many generations have to come and go, and how many fortunes have to be spent, before you folks realize you have to radically change your disturbing traditions and unsettling culture if you are ever going to do anything that matters.

Even Bear Bryant had his worse record while coaching at TAMU.

UK (60-23-5) (71%)
TAMU (25-14-2) (65%)
Bama (224-42-9) (83%)

Enough said.

Honest answer, no.

No . . .despite his used car salesman appearance at the moment, he has accomplished more than Brian Kelly and most other SEC coaches in his tenure.

He is just stubborn dude who let the game pass him by and refused to adjust to the times.

Kelly has been a head coach for 20 years, has 160 official wins in that period and 7 bowl wins.

Fisher has been a head coach for 14 years, has 173 wins, 8 bowl wins, and a national title trophy on the resume.

Good points. aTm's loaded trophy case is the cause for these envy driven posts.

Amazing. You'd think with the highest rated recruiting class ever, there'd be no stopping him.

Except he's on course to miss a bowl game TWO years in a row following the signing of that class.

How can you try to spin this shite at all by referring to his overall coaching record?

He won at FSU and has struggled at A&M. It's not a Jimbo problem. It's an aggie problem.

And yet, Kelly has accomplished in ONE season what Jimbo hasn't in 6 years in the SEC. At least Kelly knows how to get to ATLANTA.

I am not defending his last few years. He clearly let the game pass him by and if there is any indictment of him, it is that he is currently getting paid Nick Saban money and delivering Kevin Sumlin results.

Look, I get that this board is filled with a bunch of angry mouth breathers that come here to try and dunk on folks and who are completely incapable of nuanced discussions. Even with that, calling Jimbo the most overrated college football coach in history is dumb . . .even by the standards of this place. Guys I would say are more overrated in their careers than Fisher just off the top of my head.

Charlie Strong
Glen Mason
Houston Nutt
Bobby Ross (even with his one natty)
Dennis Franchione
Rick Neuheisal
Hal Mumme
Mike Stoops
Bo Pelini
Brady Hoke
Paul Hackett
Rich Rod
Kliff Kingsbury
Ty Willingham
Ron Zook
Charlie Weiss
Willie Taggart
Mike Reilly

But it's not. A&M's athletics are mediocre and have been for decades, even when you were in a middling conference. All the stuff about your weird culture, weird cheer dancers, jizz jars etc, is just bonus material.

It sure does irk some people on this board that jimbo has a winning record vs LSU and vs grindin’ brian. If he was halfway decent, he’d prob be 5-0 vs LSU

Agreed . . .but neither coach and neither program would define an SEC championship game appearance in which your team gets utterly routed as the actual goal for the program.
