Does this fact worry any of the A&M fans around here a bit?

FSU has been quite the disappointment the last two years.

Sumlin left him with a top 15 roster. This is a myth.

I'm not so sure. Defense was weak and the culture with the Pimp Stick set them back.

against a pussy schedule. Louisville beat them 63-7 or something like that. That same Louisville team couldn't score a single TD vs LSU as a reference. Without the rapist he didn't do much.

That #8 ranking is more LSU has done in the last 7 years.

I was referring to last season and what he's left down there this season.

Francois isn't what he was purported to be, and their offensive line has been atrocious for multiple years now.

That sort of recruiting to Florida State (historically better than A&M with just as rich, if not richer, recruiting grounds as Texas) would have me worried about his long term success, especially if I was on the hook for $70+ million to the guy.

He's left one of the most talented rosters in football. Jimbo cannot control how poorly FSU hired his replacement.

He probably would be if he had Jimbo. Look what Jimbo has done with Mond.

You were the biggest unobjective dipshit on this board over Chavis and I’m glad to see that you’re keeping the ball rolling on Jimbo. Maybe he’ll have a Heisman winner every single season at A&M so he won’t be incredibly mediocre like he was against weaker ACC competition his entire FSU career without Winston!

Jimbo failed mightily on the offensive line his last few classes. He'd be struggling there this season too because of it. Maybe not this badly, but pretty badly.

I don't pretend to know why, but per Bud Elliot it appears to be a combination of missing on guys they wanted, signing projects that never panned out and some bad luck. Either way, it's abysmal.

He's got a 12 win, 3 10 win, and a 9 win season without Winston. That's 1 conference title, 1 division title, and 2 top 10 seasons without him.

I think its time for you to learn what mediocre looks like.

There is a bunch of it pictured below.

He tries so hard to portray himself as professional and impartial, but he's not. He's a big arse homer that has been making excuses. He made them now and he made them before with Jimbo.

OL could have been better and he's already recruiting very well at that position in 19 and 20. Zero worries there.

So you're saying tgat Richt underperformed if he had that many NC calibre teams, then?

It's almost like it's hard to win a championship or something.

I didn't say A&M should be worried about it, but it's a massive deficiency at FSU right now and Taggert, Jimbo or Saban would struggle to work around it this season.

They've also looked awful 10 different places where they shouldn't.

Has he? Maybe he's a Miles not a Richt. Recruiting stars all over the field except on the offensive line, where it matters most. Taggart is not as bad of a coach as what FSU has shown so far this year in their losses and near loss to Samford, but you're probably right in saying he's not as good as Jimbo.

Completing less than 60% of his passes with a ~3:1 touchdown to interception ratio? Just like Francois in 2016, but that is an improvement for Mond over last year. Only difference is A&M is giving up far fewer sacks than FSU has over the last few years.

(Yes, I know LSU has struggled at the quarterback position for over a decade now.)
