Is Jalen Milroe the most volatile QB in recent history?

I don’t think I can remember any other QB that has flipped between brilliance and dogshit more than him. With our luck he’ll probably be in top form this Saturday

Other than Nico when he's playing the worst FBS team in college football and FCS teams vs when he plays against teams ranked in the top50?

Spencer Rattler comes to mind.

Generally he flips between brilliance and average frustration. Saturday was one of the first times since last year's Texas game where he's really made devastatingly bad plays that cost us points. Most of the time when he's in bad Jalen mode he's just not throwing to open guys and taking bad sacks. It isn't good, but it isn't "throw a bunch of terrible picks and destroy the game" type bad.

Jalen is a terrific young man, an amazing athlete and is 100% not a QB.

Nico ran out of bounds to end a game that they were losing by 1 score.

In your rush to make a petty insult you’ve missed the context of the post.

Rattler was really good. I have a hard time knocking him when he had to play behind that offensive line

Alabama tried to give that game away to South Carolina with 2 interceptions but South Carolina gave the game back to them with 3 lost fumbles.

Just hope the real Alabama doesn't show up Saturday.

You aren’t playing with a full deck are you? Nico is no where close as volatile as Milroe. For one he’s never lit up a team the caliber of Georgia.

That dude who torched Bama for SC in 2010 comes to mind. Garcia? That dude could look like Patrick Mahomes one week and Jordan Jefferson the next.

I’m afraid they will. When Milroe is on he is unbelievable. When he isn’t he is unbelievable for a different reason

Nico is a freshman and lost grip of the ball right before he ran out ... would have been a fumble had he tried to throw. This according to him. If you really believe Nico didn't know that he had throw the ball in order to win that game then i want some of what you are smoking.

I saw big improvements from Nico against Florida actually plus some big freshman mistakes..

His mistakes are purely mental and timing issues and any game now could be a breakout performance from him.

He made a few NFL quality throws against Florida though.

That's not what Tennessee fans were saying when Tennessee was playing the worst FBS team in college football, and FCS teams.

Do you want me to go find some receipts?

You mean to tell me you can find idiotic fan opinions on the internet?
That is shocking.

If he has protection, he is much better. If he is hearing footsteps he is forced into bad decisions. That is much like any QB....

Actually Mike Johnson did a break down of OL and said they’re really good. Said some of the issues are the RB not letting blocks develop.
