Lots of deflecting. No remorse in this thread. Sad. A lot of us at LSU believe guilty parties need to pay. Punishment for us be damned. Surprised by some of these responses smh.
A&M certainly hasn't tried to cover anything up, and is below the average in every category that diagram. Still disturbing that it happens at all ...

I believe you and thought you gave a thoughtful response to the article.
I think EKG did a great job adding perspective on the topic in general with her thread the other day.
I remember walking the LSU campus a few years back. I think it was in 2018 just before Mardi Gras. The cover of the student paper had a #MeToo headline above the fold as that was blowing up big time then. Didn't have a friggin' clue that nearly 3 years later a Cat 5 shitstorm would consume the campus.
It is absolutely disturbing.

Off topic - I always like Brer Rabbit growing up.
And yes, it is insanely disturbing the average percentage of women who dealt with sexual assault in college is over 20%!!!

There's no argument here, my man.
I just find the throwing of stones from glass houses to be quite interesting.

Just reading what was posted it does sound like the Tuscaloosa PD Investigators weren’t very competent if they didn’t run some basic lab tests. Even if you may not believe someone, you do the basics.

Let me know when the Department of Education and FBI start investigating Bama.

Hypocritical for any fan of a big program to gloat at a rival's legal matters because the same sexual deviancy is at every big school

There's no chance for any of that to happen when you head it off at the pass and throw money at the victim's family and keep your investigation (if any) out of the public.
Probably the smart thing to do honestly.

It’s damn sure better than letting shite slide, go unpunished and an Administration that acted like a cat covering up shite rather than deal with the problems. Had LSU nipped it in the bud early on, y’all likely wouldn’t be in a tsunami size shite storm today.

To be fair, LSU paid a settlement in the Miles situation just like y'all did with this one.
Y'all just haven't had investigators come snooping around to uncover any dirt yet.

Too bad for you Miles is just one of the many shitstorms currently surrounding you, huh?
