Its hypocritical to act like your shite doesnt stink and nothing ever happens at your university. Its not hypocritical to point out that LSU has a culture problem that runs deep into their athletic program that other universities dont seem to have in the SEC. LSU right now is on par with Penn State and Baylor.

The issues have come via the actions of three people over a 10 year period. Deep seated "cultural issue" there.

This comment tells me you know nothing about any of those three scandals.

Alabama's method of "making it go away" - investing in trying to stop it from happening again.

LSU's method of "making it go away" - pretend it never happened, then claim everyone else does it so that's okay.

Is it hypocritical for LSU Rantards to try to excuse or deflect from LSU athletics corruption and attempts to coverup rape/sexual assault?

Possibly.

Probably about the same as Alabama posters in this topic trying to deflect from their issues.

If a&m and Bama had repeatedly covered it up, yea, it would be hypocritical.
Typical mellinial question here.

It's not that someone was raped, unfortunately that happens on all campuses.
The issue is what the response was.

People didn't do their jobs at all three schools, that's basically the gist of it.

Its why Alabama settled with the family.

Covered up by multiple people, some still employed by LSU. LSU is further refusing to let their employees testify to the legislature. Much like Will Wade refused to meet with his boss

Per the advice of LSU's general counsel. The governor pretty much said he understood all of LSU's actions in a presser yesterday.

Yeah, not quite the same. And Alleva suspended him and forced him to sign an amended contract (allowing LSU to fire him if any Level 1 allegations are served by NCAA) before allowing him back. All of which was hugely unpopular with LSU's fanbase at the time but Alleva did so anyway. Very likely cost him his job.

This will all play out in due course.

As will the need for folks around here to get that dopamine hit they get from hating on LSU.

Still perplexing how these two fanbases melt over LSU more than any other.

Bama has their own successes to crow about.

But aggy is so inconsequential.

Two ends of the spectrum. But bama starting to like those free trident lapdances.

So you're saying these types of issues don't matter unless they're directly connected to athletics?

That is not what I’m saying at all but what do you want the University to do when it was between her and a private citizen. If anybody was at fault it was the police department. LSU was covering up their athletes a big difference.

Why did Alabama settle with the family if they did nothing wrong then?
