To be fair, LSU paid a settlement in the Miles situation just like y'all did with this one.

Correct.

I read in some article today that the other party is concerned because Sharon Lewis' lawsuit will reopen those wounds. I think it was the Taylor Porter lawyer who put that in their statement this week.

Many victims don't want the details publicized and have to share their story with the world.

As much as you use this site, it's astonishing that you still don't understand how to follow threads and conversations. Trace the thread back and you'll see why I posted what I posted (hopefully).

Didn’t we already have like a 10 page argument about this where I posted her “We’re gonna frick” text message to her friend and her pending criminal record for being a liar and a thief?

Did you just need some attention tonight?

Wow Early, this thread has really set you off

By the way, for future reference, the dude stole less than a million dollars, not sure where you got "millions" from.

One of Guice's victims invited him over after he'd already left when he asked if he could come back.

The other one doesn't even remember anything happening.

I mean if we aren't going to believe sketchy victim stories at Alabama, lets keep it consistent across the board

I don’t know anything about Guice’s “victims” except the 70+ year old. I do know the girl referenced in the OP told her friend they were going to frick, and then got caught trying to steal the dudes property before she left. I can see why that info wouldn’t have made your OP, though.

Maybe. Maybe not.

Blaming victims is never a good practice and we do know Alabama felt quite compelled to cut a check for her family.

My mistake. So the only part of my statement you, the "fact man", have an issue with is the amount. Good to know.

Is a booster a representative of the university or not?

So by your logic, when a booster kills his wife in a crime of passion, the university should be considered at fault?

I'll concede that if the university helped the booster cover up his crime, then said university would become criminally liable. But only if the university had foreknowledge of the incident, didn't tell anyone about it, and helped their booster dispose of his wife's body.

Its your logic, my man, not mine.

I mean you apparently consider a university at fault if a booster steals money so why not murder too?

...conveniently leaving out the fact that he gave it to a recruits family member.

And here I thought you stood for truth and justice.

The Alabama case has nothing to do with the Athletic department unlike LSU. That is a society problem wealthy people feeling entitled to whatever they want.

A player, not a recruit.

I see you also conveniently left out the part where he also paid another player's family who hadn't even been at LSU in over a decade and both families were returning the majority of the money to him.

You also conveniently left out that the scheme was still running even though the player had left for the NFL.

But that's all deflection anyway, this thread is about Alabama and Texas A&M.

So you're saying these types of issues don't matter unless they're directly connected to athletics?

Well if it was ok for LSU fans to discuss and besmirch the university of Alabama for it why are you whining about it happening to LSU now? Seems like y’all would be on board with this. Instead in typical fashion you create a thread to whine about it.

It sure is. Because it's your latest deflection attempt from the many scandals currently facing your little program.
