Bunch of new-money fans barking at the rest of us has tended to turn us off to the dawgie experience lately.

We still in this thing 2023... One of the best offenses in the SEC, just hope the defense can come around.

I see the GA argument though. 90% of the GA posters on this site are shot talking jackasses bringing no substance to any discussion

You just described the entire board. Each fan base has 2-3 good posters and the rest are shite.

I have been seeing this gif for years. Can anyone give me the context of wtf is going on here and why?
What is going on... A bunch of grown men in fake military costumes are tightly lined up in front of thousands of people squeezing their nuts until it makes them scream. It might be related to what their football team is doing on the field. Not sure.

Most people are losers, so they hate winners. Whoever is winning the most at the moment is the most hated team.

true to an extent, but ohio st could lose every game and they would still be hated by anyone that's ever met their fans in real life.

I like UGA. Why “hate” any team? We are all fans and shoukd put hate to the side. No need for this at all…, it’s beneath us all to hate,

Now if you want to talk about those cocksuckers from Ohio State that is different. I hate them bitches.

we have such a "woke" military

If there is any state in the south that knows about woke, it is definitely Georgia. More democrats in congress than any other southern state.

A: Auburn, Florida, SC, Tennessee, Alabama, Kentucky, can’t stand Georgia just to name a few.

B: We all have our rivals but Georgia seems to be the most disliked.

A: Georgia hasn't lost to any of these teams in awhile, especially the first one. UGA owns the title deed to their program. Therefore, the hate is understandable. Regrettable, but understandable.

B: See A.

If OSU did that kind of losing long enough, their most rabid fans would disengage and eventually everyone else would forget about their most annoying fans.

On the balance, the most viscerally felt animosity towards a team or fanbase comes down to the winning and losing.

Imagine the world where Les Miles goes 14-0 in 2011. The hatred of Nick Saban leaving for the NFL only to come back to a historical rival a few years later would be purged from their psyche. Instead what happened was Alabama snatching a national title from them after they had sorta fortunately beat them in November. The LSU fanbase psyche has still not recovered from that one. 2019 helped but you can still sense the psychic trauma around here. If Alabama has a decade-long malaise again where LSU beats them 5 or 6 straight times while winning some championships....it may be healed.

It's the winning and losing that determines how people feel about a team. Simple as that.

I don’t have an issue with Georgia. In the East, Florida and Tennessee are more disliked.

Just wait. The same thing is slowly happening to Texas. All those California liberals are flooding your state just like the ones from NY, NJ, Penn, and Mass did our great state. They left because they hated where they were and bring the same shitty stuff with them that they left behind.
