The TN one was a direct result of complete and total incompetence in Knoxville. UGA didn't have to pay him shite. It was just a legitimate college program.

Who in their right mind would come from Illinois to go to damn Oxford, Ms?

Assuming you're referring to Treadwell, his best friend from high school was at Ole Miss, as was Nkemdiche's brother. Did either receive impermissible benefits? Absolutely.

Richt's last 5 classes at UGA were ranked: 6, 8, 12, 9 and 7. That comes out to a 5 year average of #8.4. So Richt averaged borderline top 10 classes, never sniffing the top 3 much less #1. Kirby comes along and in 2 years time has the #3 and #1 classes and has them in the natty game for the 1st time in 40 years. Pretty quick rise IMO. Enough that it has people's attention and has people talking. Maybe that's enough to draw the NCAA's attention, maybe not. We shall see.

"If" you are a Bama fan, you better hope like hell the NCAA doesn't go sniffing around UGA. They have a lot of our former coaches over there and Saban's best recruiter is their HC. KS is following the NS process in damn near every aspect of his management/coaching style.

Kirby learnt it from the best cheater there is. This might be the first year Saban has been at Bama without a coach or player that has been caught for cheating. If KS is caught cheating he knows enough about Saban to either force Emmert out for conspiring with Saban or get Saban's existence at Bama wiped clean.

When you can't refute the excellent point, either post an emoji, run away, or post something as worthless as "ok buddy". You chose #3. Korin chooses #1. Straws chooses #2.

How is Auburn getting such good basketball recruits?

I want you to think about that, and then think about your reasoning as to why UGA and Bama are recruiting well.

You asked the question. I responded. You had nothing to refute it. No one has mentioned a single player that it seems would be unreasonable for him to go to Georgia.

Kirby would be wise to cool things for a bit and build slowly to avoid suspicion.

I'm not trying to convince UGA posters that y'all aren't cheating, just presenting a fact. Everyone is welcome to determine that as they wish.

I took your opinion into account and determined it's just assumptions because you don't know what really went down, and neither do I. To just blindly assume UGA isn't providing extra benefits is just sillyness.

Not saying those players were unreasonable just that it's fishy is all.

Auburn got a proven, big name, coach and the recruits followed. Smart has only one decent year and still not considered big name or great and Saban was no where near as hyped of a hire as he looks with all the 5*s now.

Meh...maybe so, maybe not. There are plenty of cheaters out there that had mentors who finished their careers with a clean slate. Maybe Kirby learned something shady from Saban, or maybe he added his own "secret" ingredient to the process. Either way, Saban won't rise or fall because Kirby hangs himself by being too aggressive too quickly.

If anything, Saban having Emmert's ear may not bode well for Kirby if he's playing dirty.

If UGA is paying like you think, we could easily just bribe Mark Emmert. That dude isn't exactly ethical.

Nice try, but anyone who thinks its odd that a badass RB would want to go to UGA to be a badass RB doesnt have enough IQ to drop any further.

Saban wants Smart to do well, and vice versa. Its not good for AU or UT.

I would completely agree with that.

Smart has only one decent year

I think it's fair to say being the National Championship runner-up and Rose Bowl Champ is better than decent

He'd won a National Championship and 2 SEC Championships at LSU. That's a big name.

So overall, Bruce Pearl with one Elite Eight appearance is a proven, big name coach. And Kirby Smart with a NC runner-up, and Nick Saban with a National Championship are not?

Georgia is safe because they hired a coach that learned from Saban . If they take Georgia down then Bama could go down with them . Unfortunately for UF fans we seem to have hired a former Saban assistant that didn’t learn the recruiting tactics and one that can’t coach.

I'm sure you guys trying to bribe Saban's personal friend Emmert would go really well for you. Please try this.
