If you take away that four-year run by Urban Meyer, Florida and Tennessee have basically been butt brothers for the last 50 years. "We love the 90s. The 90s were the best."The two decades before that and after that, not so much.
The difference is that Tennessee fans can admit that the glory days are long gone.
Florida fans still think that high school recruits and rival fans and whoever else still think of the Florida program as royalty and some swimming dick of college football.

Ok. Take away Kirby’s years at UGA and Georgia pretty much just has 2 sugar bowls and 2 SEC titles in the last 40 years lmao. This is a stupid way to look at things.
We’ve sucked for over a decade now but we are 1 of 5 programs to win 2 national titles in the 21st century. (Georgia could be #6 soon). Also our 4 year run with Meyer is one of the most successful cycles in college football history.
48-7 overall record
3 13-1 Seasons
2 SEC titles
2 National Titles
A Heisman
And a Sugar Bowl
We literally did more in 4 years than everyone in this conference outside of LSU, Bama, and Georgia have accomplished in the last 30 years lol. Not to mention we owned the 90s. Don’t lump us in with Tennessee lmao.

I think UF is 5-13 in SEC play the past two years, so...not in the Big 6.

Florida has won more SEC and National Championships in the last 30 years than 10 of 14 SEC schools have in their history. Yes they’re one of the top SEC programs. They do need to get it together though.

UF was the best program in the country from 1990 -2010.
This is the only time uga has been good in any of y’all’s life without a generational talent.

UGA has won an SEC championship every decade the SEC has existed except the 1930s and 1990s. Florida didn’t win its first SEC Championship until the 90s.
