He was booed at both. The only reason he's showing up Saturday is to get cheered. There's no other reason for him to be there. He knows Alabama, the state where he has more support than any other state, is going to give him a welcome he can tout on Twitter.

I wouldn't mind any president showing up, but as a coach I would want him to show his face and stay away from the team. No photos with him. I think any other president showing up would be a definite plus just because of the spectacle.
This, however, is the only one in my lifetime whose presence could conceivably be a recruiting liability. Wouldn't want to take that chance.
