Of course we would. We talk shite when we win the friggin coin toss. But it's nice to see an LSU fan that realizes we are on the same level.

No, we don’t have Eddie O has coach. Been there, done that already.

Probably should list all the big names that were coming to OM they year you hired the recruiting coordinator/assistant strength coach Eddie O to be your HC...

The irony of an LSU fan talking about underwhelming coach hires isn't lost on any of us.

With sanctions coming, Ole Miss should hire a veteran HC with just a few years until retirement to ride out the sanctions and probably do an above average job and win 6-7 games a year. Then when the sanctions are lifted give him a nice retirement bonus and go all out on the next hire.

Arkansas should be able to get a good second tier head coach . They will spend money and they don’t care about baggage. Lane Kiffin would be a great hire if they could convince him to go there .

Oddly enough if he wasn't the LSU head coach I imagine Coach O would be campaigning hard for the Arkansas job.

He got his big break at the U of A and its very likely that Ken Hatfield helped him land a spot at Miami since Jimmy Johnson was a former team mate of Hatfiled, he's married to a lady from Arkansas, and by all accounts loves the state.

Arky and OM should have a cage match for the right to sign Les Miles. Ark through a bunch of money at him before

Ole miss should hire Frank Wilson no matter what. Can recruit them out of the hole they are in.

I can't think of anyone better for that situation than Butch Davis. He already started his career at Miami under sanctions. Then left North Carolina amidst sanctions. Might as well come to Ole Miss during sanctions. I think he's also 65, so that's a good four-six years, probably. But who knows, look at Snyder, Paterno, and Bowden.

you must be assuming that those 3 are going to get their targets. it's unlikely they will. but arky is in a much better place than ole miss. and they can afford to give an "up and comer" a shot.

RebelTheBear - Mullen to TN

Megan thinks Orange is ButtUgly. She thinks their dog Sucks Eggs. She likes playing Golf at Old Waverly in West Point. Dan Loves Megan.

TN Loses in every one of these considerations

Dan started something at MSU and will not leave until he accomplishes his vision.

It ain't just about money, although MSU will match TN's offer.

You wish you could hire Orgeron. He could recruit talent to even Arkansas. Instead you'll wind up with some mid-college coach and see you should have kept Bert in 3 years. At least he gives a good interview and has a hot wife (which can't be said for most people in Arkansas).
