If not for y'all, Alabama would be our neighbor.

Which of these can exist without the others? I derive enjoyment from viewing salt water and sand, just sand, or some Rocky outcroppings. But none of those except heavy woodlands, pasture, or crop land produce oxygen or a complete diet.

Say what you want about HW as a political candidate, but the guy is in great physical shape and has a near 9 figure net worth. He’s not an idiot.

You sound like a liberal. I would much rather raise my family in a conservative state. You can have a really good life in the south and make really good money. I have a wonderful job and love living in ever-growing Northwest Arkansas.

Nope, not a liberal. Far from that, also. And if you read my posts, I said Northwest Arkansas is a great place to live, one of the few areas in the South that I will recommend to anyone. I raised in Arkansas and graduated from the Iniversity of Arkansas, and it’s virtually the only area in Arkansas that isn’t a white trash dump of an area.

I didn't read the paragraph throughly but here is what is said from mining.com

"To the company's knowledge, the project location at Lanxess' South plant in Arkansas is currently the only location in North where lithium is continuously being extracted from brine using a modern DLE process and being converted into both lithium carbonate and lithium hydroxide."

Numerous articles have said it is the largest in North America.

One CEO from Galvinic Energy believes South Arkansas is on the brink of becoming a world leader in lithium production.

Right from Albemarle website.

Albemarle operates two world-class raw material resources based on brine. One is located in the Salar de Atacama (Chile), and the other one in Clayton Valley near Silver Peak, Nevada (USA).

Doesn't look like they are producing yet per this article from December 2022. What info do you have shows they are producing now?

The only redeeming thing about Alabama is Huntsville. Tennessee should look into swapping Chattanooga for Huntsville in a straight up trade. Chattanooga is a better fit for Alabama than Huntsville at this point. If I was the governor of Tennessee, I’d even throw in Fayetteville and Pulaski to sweeten the deal!

Arkansas? Take away the Ozarks and Arkansas is Kansas. My family left Kansas 50 years ago and never looked back.

That's because it killed Sam. A huge amount of his fortune went to making us a premier Multiple Myeloma treatment center

Kansas has Mount Sunflower and the Flint Hills. I will say the Quachita mountains beat out the Flint Hills tho. Your point is valid!

They just got done opening the facility back in September 2020. I tried finding any numbers but I can't find them.

Here are some of the latest news.

Alabama has Orange Beach, Gulf Shores, NASA, Sand Mountain(Dated a girl from there probably a better mountain just the one I’ve been to and liked) and BBQ with white sauce. Lake Martin and Lake Guntersville is as good or better than any lake in Arkansas.

Arkansas has Hot Springs, Lakes, duck hunting in NE Arkansas, and NWA.

From Louisiana here. I've been to both states many times. I really like both of them. Probably prefer Alabama more, though

I like both too. I like the people in NE Ark and would like it better there if they didn’t have mosquitoes the size of birds.

I like the area around Norfork. The trout fishing is a lot of fun and it is close to 2 lakes.
