Doubt any 2011 championship ring says “beat LSU because JJ was their qb.. they prolly do say 21-0...

Yay we won a title even though the second best team wasn’t allowed to play enough games to qualify!!

This is the most irrelevant season in the history of CFB

Melt, bitch.

Every single time OSU has been to playoffs they’ve been either out coached or flat out thumped.

I dunno... 2014 season they won it all and pretty much made us look silly in the first round. As a fan, I actually wanted them for 2015, but that was Clemson 1...

You know what they called the national champion in 1993 when Auburn was undefeated, but banned from the postseason?

National champion.

Looks like you’ve already ranked them.

I agree it’s not a slap at Ohio State more of the arrogance of the B1G commissioner.

I don't think they'll have played enough games to definitively claim that they're the second best team, much less to qualify.

That's on them.

Just because LSU is irrelevant doesn't mean the season is.

USC won without having to play Auburn. LSU won without playing USC. Bama won while undefeated Ohio State was on probation. shite happens

If they didn't play enough games, how do you know they are the 2nd best team in the nation? Hell, they almost lost to Indiana.

Do they clearly? The schedule they did play is garbage, and let's be honest about Indiana. That isn't a top 10 team. Yes they are solid and a good story, but I'm reasonably certain Auburn would beat them.

As an Auburn fan and Indiana fan, that’s patently false. Even without their star QB Indiana is a better team and a top 10 team

Why do people still think putting a increases their chances of being taken seriously?

It's so stupid.

How do we even know they are the 2nd best after only 6 games? There’s a reason why the cfp committee doesn’t even start ranking until what, week 8?

I don't think it's as hard to look good in 5 games than it is in say 8, 9 or 10. Keep in mind this is the program that typically caves to a team like Purdue or Iowa seemingly out of nowhere. It's hard to have one of those downer games when you're only playing about half the season everyone else is.

Let's not even mention the fact that playing about half as many games is probably an advantage in its own for injury and fatigue purposes.
