I think the amount of downtime caused by TV ads hurts the atmosphere. Every time the crowd gets up, we are forced to sit for yet another 3:20. It kills the momentum every time

I agree the conferences need self governance in light of the never ending lawsuits. The idea is sound. However, in the SEC’s case, I feel the wrong guy is leading the charge. His selling of the contract solely to ESPN was a huge mistake that cost the conference millions. Not having enough business acumen to include in the original contract for the contract to pay the conference legitimate $ based in OU and UT’s worth. And, of course, the selling the coaches in a nine game conference schedule. By telling them he had assurances from the Big X that they were going to a 16 team playoff.

I loved his PC. I thought Drinkwitz would be the only one with pure unabashed honestly. The Pete showed up.I thought he did well. And I’m an LSU grad BTW
Keith Smart, Indiana basketball. Hit the nstional championship game winner. Was barely known before even in his hometown.
Well deserved. Great player. I’m glad to see he won over the kid from UCLA
Increase in ratings is directly related to the proliferation of online gambling, not more causal viewers. And the number of people that stay at stadiums for the full four hours of an average game is decreasing due to the ridiculous number of and length of ad breaks

ND would have a worse conference record than Bama if they were in the SEC. Committee was correct in not punishing Alabama for making their conference championship game. ND schedule outside if the opening two weeks was a joke. Bama’s was not

It would be disrespectful to Georgia if Bama doesn’t get in. That would be saying the same wouldn’t have happened to ND, Miami etc if they played UGa. I believe it wouid e been worse for them as good as UGa is playing right now.

I think Sumrall is a good coach and will do well there. It’s unfair and frankly ignorant for Gator fans to compare him to Napier. Sumrall has more respect among his peers than Napier did while at ULL.
Florida, and Auburn made great hires IMO. If Arkansas really gets behind him, Silverfield can do good things there even as hard a job as that is.

Danny Kanell backed Kiffin on the Cover 3 podcast. He says he doesn’t understand the outrage and that media members would do the same with that type of opportunity.

I hate to tell you my man but I wasn’t referencing the SEC schedule with my comments. Like you said “iron sharpens iron.” I can understand your being sensitive to the subject because there are tons of SEC homers constantly talking about the schedule here. I’m more of a general CFB fan, not beholden to any SEC bias. Cheers
