Except for the fact Auburn has done it 3 times already.

No. Someone may get lucky and beat Bama once in a great while, but Alabama is the THE supreme program in the SEC and will be until Saban retires.

No.
But if A&M can beat them this year, there is no way they can get a mulligan with at least 2 L’s.

No, it will be one of the traditional Big 6, either Auburn or LSU.

2012 and 2013 weren’t great defenses.
I completely disagree with your assessment of 2012. That was a GREAT defense. They shutout four teams, led the nation in total defense (250.0 YPG), points per game (10.9), rushing defense (76.36 YPG), and finished #7 in passing defense.
Fun fact, they were the last defense to average less than 11 points scored against.

The issues that plagued that style and build of defense in 2013 and parts of 2014 were already showing up that season. Statistically it was still elite. But a change in recruiting philosophy for defensive bodies was already underway after that year.

there are other teams in the SEC; east or west that have a better shot at "dethroning" bama than you ags.

I’m not sure why some LSU fans give you so much crap — you’re easily one of the better posters in this site.

Give me the right odds and I'd take Jimbo & crew to be the next team besides Bama to win the SECW. Georgia is my #2 to win the SEC clear of Bama, but A&M has as good if not better chance as Auburn and despite LSU being the ideal #2 I just don't believe in Orgeron at the helm.
Bama has to fall regardless and I'm not holding my breath on that.

The ONLY way that the Ags win the SECW in football anytime soon is if bama, AU, and LSU all go on probation.

A&M may never finish above Bama in football, but since they suck at every other sport perhaps the Aggies can finish ahead of them in something else.
