Well according to Iowa st AD they now play in the new mountain west
"The Big 12 exists because we have Texas and Oklahoma in the room. If we take Texas and Oklahoma out of the room, we're the Mountain West Conference, and we're getting $3 million [per year in TV revenue]."

They will not be invited to the AAC. Only Kansas and Ok State can backfill.

Word being floated is ESPN was willing to give a major increase in AAC TV dollars to bring in 5 B12 schools and essentially elevate AAC to P5.
The numbers will come out soon, but it's not 7 million.

Campbell was going to leave after this upcoming season anyway. He has a senior laden team and a chance to win the conference. He’ll get a giant pay day from someone in the Big 10.

No chance in hell. I like ISU and thier fanbase. That's the one old school Big 8 institution I feel the worst for in this situation.
There is no scenario in which the B1G brings them in with Iowa a sitting member. It makes zero financial sense....expansion is all about $$$$

Man Iowa State has a lot riding on this football season.
Their backfield is good enough to get them in the playoffs. If they make a real run they may get into the big 10

Will still have his pick of jobs next year. Michigan has a shot to open. Could hop over to Nebraska in a worse case scenario

This is definitely Campbell's year. He has a team full of seniors and break out stars and the B12 refs will be out to screw OU out of the conference championship.
He plays his cards right he could have a huge payday after this season.

Scott Frost isn't going anywhere b/c NU is all in on him.
I hope Bama give Frost and Campbell a look when Saban retires, both great coaches.
