Interesting to see the difference between Alabama and LSU fans

During the Bediako situation very few, if any, Alabama fans came on here advocating or defending him being back on the team. You can go look at the Alabama message board history and see the distaste most Bama fans had for the idea, even if Oats was for it and it would’ve boosted the team.
The LSU fanbase by and large seem to have fully thrown their support behind the idea of pros coming back to play college, mainly because they simply must support Kiffin in everything he does. To not do so is to admit he might not be the coach they hoped he was. So they have to act like they’re fine with doing something 99% of the college sports world is against.
Lane better hope he wins big there, because LSU fans are never going to forgive him for making them support this otherwise.

1). Basketball and football are not viewed the same. No one from LSU will care too much if Louis can't play basketball this year.
2). The main take here is that if anyone can play because of a TRO, why should others be denied? There's no consistency.

Well, you're not reading much.
A large portion of our fanbase thinks college athletics are dead and pros shouldn't play in college. However, most feel that everyone is doing it now so we will get left behind if we don't participate.
LSU has zero former NFL signed players on the football roster or officially signed to be on the team. Plenty of other schools reached out to same players we did.

Because Gumps don’t care about basketball. If it were football, it would be Just Different.

Kind of like the gumps did with Dodge Chargers prior to NIL.

Bama fans certainly did defend him and the coach and basically told others to suck it….. I remember dat!

Bediako was a distraction for the Alabama team. They went 3-2 with him during the 2 weeks he was on the roster. They went 6-0 after he was ruled ineligible, and finished the regular season 7-1 without him.
But all of this won’t be a distraction for the LSU football team.

I didn't care about Bediako of Chambliss.
I couldn't care less if any of these guys go to LSU. But, the 2022 class that has a 5th year remaining should be allowed to play. They were wronged by the NCAA and you see multiple courts agreeing with it.

#1, that's false.
#2, Alabama actually played Bediako.
Trying to paint LSU as the bad guy while forgiving Alabama is the height of illogical fandom.

STFU. There were enough Bama fans that were calling everyone else haters and saying Bediako just wanted to continue school.

Because LSU's men's sports are a joke and Mulkey can't win a title without Angel Reese.

Big ole broad Gump strokes
If it’s legal, then sure
If it’s beyond 2022 class and that 5th year, not supporting it
Stop being retarded

The point is that LSU is a peer with Alabama and Alabama, among others, are actively doing what you accuse LSU fans of supporting.
Ole Miss has an ineligible player (All American QB) that is playing only as a result of a TRO. That's another simple example.
You are trying to gain moral superiority when your school has pushed the envelope of paying players for decades. It's funny when you think about it.
