Notre Dame. The teams will be about even but LSUs schedule is brutal

@Ohio State
Marshall
Cal
@UNC
BYU (Vegas)
Stanford
UNLV
@Cuse
Clemson
@Navy
Boston College
@USC

I see 6 or 7 games that Notre Dame has no business losing. LSU doesn’t have that luxury

I see ND winning 10-11 games. Would Lsu do the same with that schedule?

Would Aggy?

Considering Aggy has had one 10-win season since The Epic Fail of 1999, and zero with Jimbo as HC, I highly doubt it.

Always appreciate your interest in LSU's program - Liar from Spring, TX.

An even more interesting topic is who left their programs in better shape Ed Orgeron or Brian Kelly

Would Jimbo throw money at recruits and then lie about it? There’s your answer.

Notre Dame without a doubt.

Roster is less talented overall but in a much better place depth wise across the board

Easier schedule

Still have the same offensive coordinator and the defensive coordinator is head coach now so far less coaching staff upheaval

They lost 2 games last year so they absolutely should be good unless Freeman is just a failure as a head coach.

Or, the same question asked another way - more wins: the team that just almost made a playoff or the team that just went .500?

I can guarantee ND will win more games. There are 6-7 easy wins on their schedule and then additional winnable ones. Also, their roster was not left in shambles like LSU.

LSU has 3 easy wins on the schedule.

If LSU somehow wins more games then either ND or the SEC is boned.

Of course the biggest loser on this board tries to turn the post into another A&M topic.

Can you say "OBSESSION"?

I don't think any LSU fans care about Notre Dame's record this season. Maybe some ND fans are bitter about losing Kelly and are trying to make the comparison a thing.

Anyhow, I don't think that schedule is that easy, though not as tough as LSU's. I could see ND losing to OSU, splitting the UNC/BYU games, and losing to Clemson and USC. I'll guess 9-3 but 8-4 would not surprise me.

Ed O left Lsu with more talent than ND will likely ever have.

LOL, I wish. At the end of last season, LSU had less talent than any Tiger team since before the Saban-Miles eras.

Idk dude. We were very very thin there for a while and have filled the roster back up with transfers and freshman

I'm talking about a more recruit ranking / # of blue chips for talent.

If the transfers plug the holes then the talent will come together. If they don’t then the talent won’t matter.

We’re loaded with receiver talent but thin on the o line . As long as those transfers workout then we can get the ball to those guys and open holes for our 5 start senior back
