It would not have mattered considering UGA brought in 7 composite 5 stars and 10 players total that were at least a 5 star by at least 1 recruiting service, both were all time records. The greatest 25 man class in the history of recruiting with Walthour taking a GS.

That's nice but the important result is will they be able to play?

Some will, some won't...but if they're drafted in the first round, they'll undoubtedly get paid well regardless of whether they play much in the NFL or not...

What have y’all had like one or two 5* players in that time frame ?

Son of stupid, how can you get 60% if they had just one or two 5* players in that time frame?
Oh, sorry, you are an Alabama graduate.

I'm not so sure about that. Six recruits (diff between 28 and 22) can make a huge difference, if they're the right ones.

As of now, both will have strong classes.

He was a huge bust and is currently out the league while Cyrus isn’t.

Not even the greatest 25 man class in the last two years. The 24/7 Composite Class ranking looks at the top 25 players signed (not the entire class). Bama's 2017 class had a total score of 323.87 points. UGA's 2018 class had a score of 323.31.

Also, before we anoint any class as the "greatest 25 man class in the history of recruiting", let's see them on the field first.

Is that good enough to offset Richardson, Fluker, Millner, Warmack?

Richardson was a definite bust, probably the biggest Bama's had...Milliner was a bust a well, but most of that had to do with injuries as other than a mixed rookie year, he couldn't stay on the field due to his health...

Warmack hasn't been anywhere near the dominant player he was in college, but he's still in the league and he's started 51 of 59 games...and Fluker has been a starter for 65 of his 68 games. Maybe they didn't fulfill their potential but don't see how you can label them as busts...

What are you talking about? Even after the draft LSU has more players than Bama

Being a 1st rounder guard you should be more than just an average guard. Trai Turner was a 3rd round pick and he's been to 3 pro bowls in 4 years

Only a coonass would label a couple of starters as busts.

Barron is awesome...you don't know football!

Barron was Auburn’s best offensive player during his time at Bama.

Wish that guy had never left.

I agree...but an average guard is not a bust...
