The fans are the most vocal critic. Idk why Bama fans always blame LSU fans for the Bama bust noise. Google Bama bust or search it in twitter you'll see it's more than just a jealous LSU thing

What percent lived up to the 1st round hype compared to the rest of CFB?

Bama did too. If they paid players like Dix they were paying the rest too.

Well because Alabama is one of the most if not the most hated teams. So people shite on Bama anyway they can.

Alabama has had its share of bust but it’s annoying when people act like almost all of them suck.

That's a good question. You have players like Julio who is a future HOF, CJ Mosley is really good, donta Hightower and Ingram have made a pro bowls. Then they have good not great players like Dix and Baron.

Then you have players who were great and fell like Dareus, and Cooper

Is that good enough to offset Richardson, Fluker, Millner, Warmack? It's hard to tell

It's goin to depend on this new wave of 1st rounders but some of them could end up being bust too

But is Bama any different than any of these other NFL factory schools when it comes to talent? It goes both way

Basically Bama has great development and 5 star players are much more likely to be highly productive and eventually drafted high. The development is unmatched.

Most other school's 5stars bust at the collegiate level and don't get drafted at all or high enough to be considered bust.

Thankfully, Cyrus Kouandjio, who was “Bought by Bama” at the Eleventh Hour is not one of those 48.3%.

That cheating sellout got what he deserved, imo.

No one said every one of Bama’s 5* lived up to the hype. For everyone like Love that busted in college, there are 3 more that didn’t.

In pretty much every recruiting classes, well over half of the 5* don’t live up the hype. Some don’t do anything at all. If your reasoning is correct

you just simply get a lot of them

then most of the 5* players should be massive busts. But that’s not the case. Of the 31 5* players that have signed with Bama under Saban, 21 have been 1st or 2nd round picks.
