This could have an effect on the entire school, not just the athletic programs. This is the University of Mississippi Administration not taking action when seeing wrong doing. This may just be bigger than we think if Freeze isn't fired.

Freeze isn't going anywhere I hate to tell you State fans. He makes it thru this one way or another. If we go on probation AND let go of Freeze it will double the amount of time it takes to come back from this.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but that article, while accurate, is from 2013.
Interestingly enough, here's another publication from 2013 which also addresses the NCAAs issues.

If there is anyway that firing Freeze will save us from a two year bowl ban he will be gone. If he makes it through this then we might have the most pig headed administration in football. It's time to stop making excuses, and burying our heads in the sand, and time to start figuring out what needs to happen to move forward.

There may be a new violation structure, but the main point remains. The ncaa should be more concerned with academic fraud, sexual harrassment, rape, etc. than an outdated conception of amateurism.
Of all the things we are accused of, I think the ACT stuff is the absolute worse. I could GAF if a kid gets a car or cash or a bunch of t-shirts.
Academic fraud affects the value of my degree. Just ask sociologists who went to Auburn.

Sadly, it gets the least attention. I know virtually nothing about the ACT stuff, but I can find the other stuff in 2 seconds. Sell the sizzle, I guess
