Indiana’s biggest remaining challenge: Beating a good team twice in the same season.

Dawgs were just reminded that this is still a thing.

The loser of the first game is more likely to look for things to change, while the winner leans on the expectation of a repeat (if only subconsciously).

It was a close game the first time, just like OM-UGA. Cignetti doesn’t seem to take things for granted, but there are 60 other brains that have to do the same.

Oregon isn’t nearly as good as ole miss, they’ve been gifted an easy path to the semis with JMU at home and an offensively inept tortilla tech

It’s a hurdle, that’s for damn sure.

I really like this final four. I think both games are going to be real fights.

They were inept yesterday. Oregon has some talent on defense but gave up 30 points to JMU so it’s not like they’re 2021-22 Georgia level of defense

OU was reminded with Bama, Georgia reminded with Ole Miss, Bama reminded with Georgia, LSU reminded with Bama in 2011.

You hit the nail on the coffin, beating a team twice is no small feature.

Would have strong claim for GOAT CFB season. Best team would still be arguable pending draft, but if they run the table would be tough to dispute.

As an LSU fan, kind of hate this but… such a likable team it's impossible not to root for them.

And we held Miami to 10 before they dropped more points on tOSU than any other team they faced this season.

I don’t think you can draw as many conclusions from a first round game as you can when it gets really real.

Dude does not give a shite about any bs "Bama mystique" ... that's only narrative for fans and talking heads who reel them in

I seriously doubt they are worried about Oregon.

Which is exactly the point I am making.

Don’t realize Cignetti held Pat’s leash so effectively.

Can he turn him off, too?

Asking for a friend.

Cignetti is currently planning on having his players run stairs all day tomorrow for giving up 3 points to Alabama.

I think he'll have them good and angry by the time they get to hit an Oregon duck.

Cig is cold blooded. He is who Drink & Beamer cosplays as.

His attention to detail and in game feel is elite. He has already done what Dan and Oregon have not done.

Most memorable, sure. It's an amazing story.

But not GOAT level season with their schedule and talent level.
