In your opinion, which SEC fan bases are the most passionate?

Most diehard - South Carolina
Most unhinged - LSU
Most over-the-top serious - Alabama
Most retarded - Tennessee
Most gay - Auburn (sorry A&M)

Mississippi State. Fans trade lifelong tinnitus and feeling miserable about your team 9 out of 10 years. That takes a level of passion I can't fathom.

Define passionate? If that means a fan base that shows up, regardless of the opponent or their W-L record.... then our LSU fan base isn't it.

Between LSU, Tennessee, or auburn. Coincidentally the most unhinged as well but I admire the dedication.

LSU fans are bi-polar as frick and Saban is right have catastrophe syndrome. Probably because of the Bo Reins incident.

Alabama fans are just fricking die hard as frick but alums are mostly good guys.

Ole Miss fans are still living in the past, didn’t Faulkner say something like that once.

Miss State fans just want to be relevant, and are generally good guys. (Since I am stlll on Edam cheese list I am not saying any thing bad)

Auburn fans are the classic little brother complex guys,

Texas A&M are the same plus a gay cult like deal going on.

Texas is like Alabama but with 1000 times the money and 10% as much success. Also alums generally good guys.

Arkansas is like a cross between Mississippi State and Ole Miss. sorry cousins. All good people.

Florida is a little bit weird but not Faggie weird and they don’t like to leave the state. But they really hate Georgia.

Georgia used to be the nice guys except for Florida but they are basically gump east now.


Kentucky is passionate about basketball, football not so much but getting better

Vandy really couldn’t care less about any sport and is really a Yankee school in a Southern Conf.

Missouri really really hates Kansas but they have taken over as nice guys of SEC now.

South Carolina is new to all this but have a great fan base and stadium experience now. Also good guys.

Tennessee- they have a great stadium but are arrogant pricks most of the time that think they are more important than they really are.

Oh, Oklahoma is the Auburn of the Southwest

Show me another fanbase that would have 25 consecutive sellouts while also being in one of the biggest dumpster fire eras in their history.

Miss State - like Cubs fans. One day it will happen. Respect.

UT (not the beach ball orange variety from Tenn) has the most objective and intelligent fans who are also generally better looking than others’ fans. Also more prone to self-critical analysis.

Aggies- most delusional unless you encounter them individually where they are as decent as they come. Partial respect.

LSU- down and dirtiest and it works. The Trumpists of college football.

Ole Miss- the most earnest who do more with less than all others. And the Grove is excellent, as is game atmosphere. Respect.

Georgia - congenial. And of course we all would be too if we were as successful as UGA has been in recent years. I admire your coach and want to go to a game there and see where REM became famous. Respect.

Vandy - they care less than a wide swath of UT fans care and that’s really saying a lot.

Tenn- y’all did help out at the Alamo so you are fine folk in my book. Respect.

Ala- can’t argue with success. Like UT, a lot of band wagoneers who didn’t attend, but that’s a compliment. Respect.

Others - I just don’t know well enough but glad to be in the conf w you.
