USC. They always suck and it’s hotter than the sun in Columbia on a fall afternoon, but they still show up.

OP asked which fan base is the most passionate. I would describe "passionate" as led by their emotions. That describes LSU fans to me, bc we lose half of the total "fanbase" when we suffer our first loss each year. That's why Brian Kelly was doomed. He kept losing the home opener each year.
And he was a dickwad yankee that didn't fit in at all.

Sisyphus is a Gamecock fan.
If, for some magical reason, USC ever had an Indiana-style run to a title, I'm absolutely certain that the cathartic celebrations in Columbia would actually have casualties.
Hell, even if we got a chance to host a home playoff game, Williams-Brice would crumble to the ground before kickoff.
