TBF, some might argue that Terrell Davis led the Broncos.

But everything else looks 100% correct, especially the last part.

Pathetically correct.

You act like it's not hard to win a NC in football. 12 schools have won one since that time, with Bama claiming 6 of them and OSU and LSU claiming 3 each.

Alabama: 6 (2009, 2011, 2012, 2015, 2017, 2020)
Ohio State: 3 (2002, 2014, 2024)
Georgia: 2 (2021, 2022)
Clemson: 2 (2016, 2018)
LSU: 2 (2003 BCS/consensus, 2019) — plus 2007
Florida: 2 (2006, 2008)
Florida State: 2 (1999, 2013)
Auburn: 1 (2010)
Miami (FL): 1 (2001)
Oklahoma: 1 (2000)
Texas: 1 (2005)
Michigan: 1 (2023)
USC: 1–2 (2004)

If you're on that list you're in elite company, despite what SEC Rant wants to say about it.

Our apologies to fellow SEC brethren for not stopping them in Atlanta. We had their asses on the ropes early in that 4Q though.

Minor correction but Auburn has 2 (2004 and 2010) claimed NC during that time frame

Read my post again and see where I mentioned that. I didn't order the list, Grok did.
