I really don't know much about them, I just have to wonder how battle tested they are though compared to SEC teams.

The SEC has been the top baseball conference for how long now? It's not some new development that people are going "holy shite!" at 
Their road to Omaha goes through their home, and once in Omaha it's usually not who's predicted to get there. They'll play who's there like everyone else if they even get there which is never a guarantee for any team

While the SEC is the best league, the ACC is right there behind them. They are battle tested I would say

Which ACC teams are right there with the SEC?
Clemson, BC, Wake...who else? Even one or two of those I could argue against.

UofL has been decent in recent memory.
But McDonnell had to publicly plead for facility upgrades a couple of weeks ago. They keep fricking around and they’re going to lose him to someone like Ole Miss who will hand him a blank check.
