but this is Exhibit A of what you get with Texas, as we've been saying....

A school whose "good lifelong friend" will announce their baseball firing on the same day as the friend's team is playing the NC game amid rumors that the coach might be leaving

A coach taking an entire staff AND as many players with them, and doing while competing in the CWS.

Most schools/coaches at least shiw some honor and encourage their players and commits to remain at their school- not Schloss.

No, I'm not crying 'cause in the long run it's a drop in life's bucket, but I did want to underline that this is exactly the sleaze that caused Nebraska Colorado A&M and Mizzou to leave. And ithers wouldve followed if they had the chance.

Nothing that happened has anything to do with if Texas is in the conference or not.

Yea, I’m trying to figure out how is joining the conference had an impact on stealing Aggies coach. Because of his relationship with CDC, that was gonna happen with or without the SEC. No way he leaves the Ags if they were not really good friends and he trusted their working relationship. Wish it didn’t go down the day after final game but it is what it is.

I don't recall a single runaway team mentioning texsa taking their corch as a reason for their rapid departure from the BIG XII

Texas wanted to announce Pierce’s release on Tuesday but the Pierce side leaked the termination to Chip Brown who ran with the story. Who can blame Chip Brown?

So, the cat was out of the bag on Monday. Sh*t happens.

Texas wanted to get the new coach into place asap for obvious program rebuilding and stabilization reasons.

Did Texas get the deal done before Pierce was fired? I hope so. See, Schlossnagle has this person he pays called an “agent”.

No doubt, Texas felt good about having a deal in place via Schlossnagle’s agent, but until the signature is placed on the contract, minds can, and oftentimes do, change.

In this case. A&M lost a NC by one run. If aggy refuses to accept Schlossnagle gave it his best effort, that’s on them.

Texas offered a job to a coach they wanted to hire. The coach, an adult male human, decided it was in his best interest to accept the job. Texas A&M was unable to retain said coach, for any number of reasons. Yep, it's a Texas problem. Clearly

Aggies have no problem poaching from other teams but it's a problem when Texas does it.

So much drama about the obvious. It's what makes this so funny.

Quit your crying and win something, anything, but quit crying.

PS quit bragging about being rich, you're not rich. Never have been, never will be.

The OP clearly is looking for sympathy, OP is trying to rally the SEC against Texas

I agree with this post and echo it's sentiment.

There's a way to do something with integrity and then there's what Texas did. It shouldn't be shrugged off.

And I'd further argue that they way they handled this was not only a poke in the eye to ATM and the SEC, but rained on Tennessee's moment in the sun.

As the hosts of The Morning Rush broadcast expained, "Texas made Gameday 3 all about themselves."

Well to be fair, Texas isn't doing themselves any favors in the PR department.

My god aggy is a bunch of scared little bitches.

"Texas is going to push everyone else around!"

No they're aren't. Texas doesn't have power here like they did in your old conferences.

And the main reason is this: Y'all needed Texas to make your conferences relevant, and we don't. We are relevant without Texas. We made Aggy slightly relevant without Texas.

Aggy is upset because the one thing that made them relevant in the SEC is no more: Texas tv markets.
