You really haven't been paying attention if you think Saban is in anyway motivated by players winning individual awards.

Why would he play him in a meaningless game then?

Stats, stats and more stats.

It hurts Bama more than it helps them if he plays

Guess they stopped teaching what the word “OR” means at LSU after I graduated

They were not targeting the knee. You all complain about football getting soft, but you're the actual reason it's getting soft complaining about things like this. If Tua didn't want to get beat up, he shouldn't have played against that MSU D.

There's a reason Saban's players are worn down before they make it to the NFL. Saban is playing him for his own ego and doesn't care if he gets hurts. Tua can't tell him no.
All while Gus has a history of doing a marvelous job of roster management and player rotation.

I don’t believe State was targeting the knee, but they were trying to hit the QB and they did better than anybody else this year. A lick close to the knee made Saban draw up a little.

Thank you. Some common sense from a Bama fan.

How many stats do you think he's going to put up in a game in which he likely plays 3 series, or 1 1/2 qtrs?

3 TD's on 3 drives

First quarter he might have 4TD

How many of these are about Bama and Saban? 7500?
Not nearly as many as posts as Bama fans have made about me because they don't like facts messing up their fantasy.

What facts? Does Gus even have players in the NFL?

if he had come out everytime he wouldn't have played since UT. That doesn't happen.

He was taken out against state because they were hell bent on severing his leg at the knee.

Finally, he has a strain, not a sprain. A strain will get to feeling better but you can't do a lot over a period of time. It takes a full 3 months or so to heal completely. He is ok to start but toward the end of the game its hurting.

We could demonstrate knee and quad injuries on you, if you'd like us to totally clear this up in your mind for you.

It seems like hes legitimately hurt, everytime he takes a shot in a game, he has to come out. Yet today hes out in the rain planting on it? Am I the only one confused about this part of "the process"?

I wouldn't be shocked if it's a slight meniscus tear. Nothing a lil cortisone shot can't help with.

Then get it fixed in the offseason. But also cross a finger it doesn't tear more in the upcoming games.

Tua is faking it. Just trying to raise his stock. If he can do all of this on a bad knee, imagine how good he must be when he is completely healthy
