Lane had a tough time making it to the playoffs with an 8 game conference schedule.

Never forget that Lane took the #1 portal class in 2024 and managed to lose 3 games he had no business losing, including losing to Kentucky at home. I believe this was the only SEC game they won that year....

With how much money LSU spent this year, anything short of a national championship is a bust. I'd bet the top 3 ranked teams from this years rosters cost about what LSU is spending for the 2026 season. Surely with Lane they'd at least match what Indiana did.

Oh brother that’s such BS lol. He brought yall to heights you haven’t seen since my grandparents were engaged. It was pretty impressive what he did with Ole Miss a historically mid program. But yes I agree, winning at Ole Miss is rather difficult to do it consistently. That’s why you can’t solely rely on the portal.
