And even with mUh bEsT ClAsS eVEr - the truly elite players would still rather be at Texas.

Why would they want to go 5-7 and lose to Kansas then go undrafted?

His uncles played for the same school against the same competition. Keep in mind most of the kids he's throwing to are just as small, slow and weak. You can keep trying to convince yourself the kid isn't any good just because he's going to your rival, but he's legit.

He was second team all state this past season. In a lower classification.

Yes Stephen that’s the point I’m making. He’s won 2 playoff games in 3 years as a starter. Only won his district once (only 5 varsity football teams in 2A-District 11).

That is crazy since he has been the starting quarterback since the 3rd grade and still has five years of varsity eligibility remaining. It only seems that way I guess

Texas sucks for sure, they need to get better players. Arch probably provides the biggest boost they could hope for so probably why they wanted him so bad.

Tell me more how you’re better than Texas as you start threads about their 2023 commits at 6:00am.

Its amazing to me that no current college football staff has hired you to analyze film Ingus. You seem to have a gift that none of them have

Really glad he ended up at Texas. They're already a dumpster fire and he won't take all the blame for suckage when Sark realizes how bad it is and hits the sauce... again.

He may be amazing in college, but other than his name there is nothing to indicate he will be a star at the SEC level.

It doesn’t hurt to be tutored by 3 college and NFL star QB’s. He’s still got some filling out to do and certainly has the genes. Intangibles are what’s tougher. IMO Eli was superior athletically to Peyton and was tougher. But Peyton ate/lived and shite football. Probably not a better QB ever at dissecting defenses. Brady May be equal, but not better.

Does Arch have the fire and football IQ. Will he do what it takes to be the best he can be? How will he perform under pressure?

I think at worst he’s a good to very good college QB. I think Texas was the smart pick. He can sit behind Ewers and develop. The Manning’s can interfere as much as they like. He’ll make insane money from name and likeness while playing inferior competition that less likely to cripple him in the process. Then he can step up into the SEC with Texas, or transfer, and prove himself while honing his skills against the best conference in the country.

I think he should’ve gone to MSU and played for the pirate.

Kid isn't even participating in Elite 11. Might not want to be exposed? Makes sense to go to a Big XII school and keep playing Mickey Mouse defenses

I am seriously looking forward to the conflict in that QB room with both kids promised starting position

we aint melting

we are farting on your face

Manning to Texas is exactly what A&M wanted. Saban passed on Manning. A&M never offered.

Chris Simms 2.0. check with your lovers north of the river. they are laughing and rolling. self awareness in austin is so absent. but your right, the SEC is shivering.

you are the greatest program ever and you are back, kansas will suffer now

the hype is completely ridiculous.

It is sad when they want a last name to prop up an entire class of kids that are ultra talented in their own right.

If I had the opportunity to trade Weigman for Manning I wouldn't take it. Connor lit it up against Texas 6A.
