All the ghey he injected into the program probably had boosters a little upset.

There's no way he'll ever have the attendance and atmosphere at USC that he had at Arkansas.
Too much else going on with other sports in LA.

Too many vague rumors about him “rubbing people the wrong way” with zero details. How did he “rub people the wrong way”? He won at a higher clip than any Arkansas coach in recent memory. I hope the real story comes out at some point, but I doubt it ever will.

I keep seeing this and stuff about him burning bridges with high school coaches. Never seen any actual examples so who knows what is or isn't true.

One thing was certain. Muss coached like he was already out the door for most of the season.

Muss could've been dealing with some personal issues.

Saban was just looking for his one true home and that was the University of Alabama.

I knew he was going to USC several days ago because a co-worker coached a player in high school who now plays in the PAC-12 and Muss is trying to poach him to USC. It’s pretty surreal now that it happened. It feels like an ugly divorce type situation.

Why don't you put this in your sig line below so you don't have to post it every time you start yet another thread.

How so? Elevating the program to where it hadn’t been in two decades? He’s literally the second most accomplished coach in the history of the program and that’s in only 5 years and one of them being a Covid year.

You can make a good argument for top 4 and then only because Glenn Rose bombed his second time as HC at Arkansas. Schmidt, Sutton, and Richardson all had better runs here. Schmidt went a mind boggling 75-6 his final 4 years at the school. Sutton had deeper runs in the Big Dance. Nolan, of course, won it all.

I'm not saying he was a steaming pile of hog manure, just that we've had other coaches that did better here than he did.
