It's a rehash in that it is a summary of the culture that has been entrenched at auburn since the Dye era. The article topic in and of itself about the history of that culture is new (as far as anything I've read). It ain't my fault that the media has decided to pull an all out assault on your athletic program.

BTW...

This shite makes me laugh, you know that I was all mad in the fall of 2011 over Cam, but I've let that shite go. Others should as well.

Since then, we've seen multiple NCAA investigations, two former players killed (and one current player shot) at a pool party, an armed robbery involving four players, a private security firm hired to make sure players make curfew, the worst season in decades, and a coach fired and paid off for $7.5 million.

Now we have — allegedly — players getting paid, players receiving grade changes to stay eligible and rampant drug use.

Your players are mugging innocent students and you think Auburn is the only place with a culture problem?

i think you addressed the wrong poster with this...but, in defense of bamatab, whose post i believe you were responding to....he was just summarizing the matt hinton article, not making accusations.

Was it them or Sports Illustrated that gave you a football phone with a subscription? I know I remember them having the best MLB section in the business.

Typically, it goes something like this: win a championship, recruiting improves exponentially, win more championships (see: Alabama). Unless, that is, the very foundation of what you do and who you are has rotted away long ago. Unless, that is, you stumble upon fools' gold by landing an elite player — who turned in the greatest single season in the history of the game — and then hold on tight while he carries you to unthinkable heights. Decades of dirty dealings for one national championship. Reward, ladies and gentlemen, can't outrun risk.

That about sums up what happened.

U may have just started WW3 with the Aubie nation. Don't you know it is taboo to say anything bad, read anything bad, or write anything about god's chosen nation.

and, that was probably the best thing that every happened to us, as painful as the years of suckage that resulted from it were.

And that was a long 10+ years of suckage. Dumbose, Frans whinny arse nasal voice, to Mike Price "it's rolling baby" to Mike Shula blank stare on the sidelines. Bad times. Bad times.

If you seriously believe Saban runs Bama by the book then your intelligence level is on par with this dumbass!

He may not run things strictly by the book, but he isn't doing the things that this article is accusing auburn of doing.

BTW...this thread is about auburn, not Saban. Try staying on topic please.
