For UT, I'd be somewhat disappointed because the schedule sets up for a good run for it. Definitely if they don't make it in the next 2 years with Nico at the helm.

Would be shocking for Bama not to make the playoffs next year, tbh.

At this point, a team that finishes in the top 10 should be in the playoff unless a lot of conference champs are outside the top 10.

Yes, I'd be extremely disappointed if UGA isn't a top 10 team in most years going forward.

Nobody is looking at what Mizzou is losing for some reason. Mizzou is returning to the norm next season if for no other reason than they are flipping the roster. Yes the QB and WRs are all returning but between declaring for the draft and being out of eligibility they are not going to be a shadow of this team.

They will be back to competing with South Carolina and Kentucky in 2024.

Most disappointed teams: UGA, Bama, Texas, OU, Ole Miss

LSU will be focused on improving the defense, and breaking in a new QB (although he appears to have good talent).

TN will be focused on breaking in a new QB (although highly talented). Not sure what they are losing on defense

Mizzou may be disappointed, but from my understanding they are losing some good players after this year. They need to prove that they can sustain a high level of success from year-to-year after a great year.

A&M is rebuilding, and expecting a Playoff run is a stretch in my opinion

FL needs help

AU needs help

I'm not in agreement with this part necessarily and UK has been borderline, on the edge of getting an at large bid in this format once or twice. They've won ten games two times under Stoops.

But I do tend to agree that teams like Mizzou rarely follow up the last season with something as good. Not saying they can't, but it's rare. It's not exactly a given for Tennessee either as this past year has shown.

He’s been there a decade now and is 73-65. And his built in 4 OOC wins plus Vandy and 2 toss ups with Uof SC and Mizzou are going away.

Your overall record does not dictate that you can't make a playoff.

Dykes did last year.

He will have to do better in conference. I agree there. But the point is that twice he's been within one win of getting there.

Cheezedick won it all when only two teams qualified.

Losing to Oklahoma or Arkansas would make me infinitely more disappointed than missing the playoff.

I just wish LSU weren’t doing a complete overhaul. New QB, new WR’s, new defensive staff… I personally can’t fathom our defense not vastly improving but Nussmeier won’t be JD. Not even Milroe can do that.
