Not based on the criteria in the OP, bossman.

And yet we still have just as many national championships as UGA in my lifetime.
Across all sports? Y'alls "undefeated football team" joke has been dry since Day 1.

Miami over both. Better academically, sports are solid, and in a city with plenty to do.
Still triggered over 16-10.

In the State of Georgia, no question the one university would be the Georgia Institute of Technology.
It's regarded as one of the top 50 International Universities. The value it brings to the Metro area as well as the State is incalculable.

The clear answer in Tennessee is Vanderbilt. The best academics, best city, best football basketball and baseball teams...I mean its really not debatable at this point.
Nah. Vandy can't carry the load in this state. They would go with UTk

Which would they choose in terms of what it offers as a whole? Academics/Sports/Etc.
It would never be voted on this way and I suspect you already know that. The University of Texas would win this fight in Texas fairly easily, just due to numbers. That's not to say UT isn't a good school. But it's a stupid hypothetical. Is UT going to grow to 200K+ students overnight? If so, who in their right mind would want to go there? If not, where do those students go? Pay 10x tuition to go to Baylor, Rice, TCU, SMU? Or do they stay on the same campus but that school is absorbed into the UT system? If so, what's the point?

Something tells me you have never been to Miami.
You enjoy that hour commute from campus to the stadium?
45,000 a year tuition, for a a degree that no longer carries more weight than UF or FSU. Yeah man, you got it all figured out.

UF only has one rival in the state of Florida, that being our little sister in Tallahassee. The other schools in the state are mid-majors at best.
UF lost to Miami the last time they played.
FSU is 6-1 over UF the last 7 years - Little sister?
Furthermore, UF tried to stop playing FSU back in the day and the legislature had to step in to force UF back into the series. UF is a joke, and SWAMP DONKEY coaching should keep yall as a joke.
and for looking down upon "mid majors" - THE MIGHTY GATA lost to GA SOUTHERN not too long ago...AT HOME..IN THE POND!

Vanderbilt is a private university so they're out of this discussion since they are independent of the state system.
Same goes for Miami.

So adding Auburn to Alabama in football would equal a better team? How so, exactly?
Collectively, the 2 schools played for 7 of last 8 national championships. Bama 5, Auburn 2.
09 - Bama
10 - Auburn
11 - Bama
12 - Bama
13 - Auburn played for NC
14 -
15 - Alabama
16 - Bama played for NC

Thing is Florida has how many universities playing DI ball
One college in each state representing California, Texas or Florida
Would frick Alabama dry without lube and not even give your state a good bye kiss

Wait what?
The worst human beings in America come through Emory
Even Atlanta businesses and firms hate Emory kids
It's not even in the discussion

Emory doesn't even qualify since they're a private school.

UGA is the oldest public uni in state and has the medical, professional programs. it also takes a lot more in state students and has a much larger enrollment overall. in many ways G Tech seems like a private school, like 10 percent of its students are from other countries.

Because all the top talent in the state would go to the same school.
