Since I've lived here I haven't felt any inclination to pull for Vandy. I check out their schedule to see who is coming around in the big 3 sports in case it's interesting, because I hear tickets aren't hard to come by. LSU is coming next year, woohoo! If anything, I've barely started paying attention to MTSU, mostly because they have had some success in various things.

I wouldn't pull for Vandy for proximity reasons, just pull for them because them beating any big 6 school is always amusing

I live in Bwood and regularly attend Vandy bball and baseball games... usually cheer them on against utk in football when in town. Perfectly acceptable

I've been to one and have been in Nashville when other games were played. their stadium is very small and I was the only tailgater that I could see. as usual, I cooked way too much food and had lots of cold beer to give away and not one vandy fan would even give me a no thanks as they walked by; they literally kept their face to the front and completely ignored me. finally, some LSU fans arrived and it was party time.
I have also been partying downtown when Vandy was playing and there were a lot of Vandy fans walking the streets. when I asked how they were going to do in the game not a damn one of them knew they even had a game that day.
in short, Vandy football fans are by far the worst in the SEC and maybe the worst P5 fans in the country.
suffice it to say, Vandy is sucking off of the SEC money wise and, imo, should be tossed out of the conference. it's football welfare.

Bwood also. I tend to watch and listen to Vandy more than most teams and I tend to cheer for Vandy in most situations.

I’m pretty close to Nashville and don’t give a flying crap about Vanderbilt. Unless they’re playing a team I dislike.
