Georgia had a hell of a lot of injuries this year and still won the natty. Quality depth is the key to being the best team.

Yep, that is true. This was not our deepest team, especially after losing all the guys we lost from last year's team. Good team with some individual great players, but too many holes.

Congratulations on the NC, first and foremost. You won’t catch me giving excuses for Alabama.

But bitch don’t be talking bout some “we had injuries all year and still won the natty” when Georgia was playing cupcakes up until the SECCG.

Have you looked at both teams’ schedule + results or just mad?

Yep. Georgia was a deeper team this year. Alabama had some bad injuries in 2020 but had the roster to sustain a high level of play despite the losses.

Alabama had a narrow path to winning it all this year. Glad they threaded the needle in the SECCG.

Youre delusional if you think it isnt a different game with both teams fully healthy. Georgia may still win but it would be a different team for bama as well

we already saw that game, bama won by 3 scores. I don't mind Georgia fans celebrating, but it's ridiculous to try and downplay what happened to Alabama from an injury perspective. We lost basically our entire offense from the first game. Our leading receiver after the first quarter when Jameson went down was then Slade bolden, who you could put Jordan Davis on in coverage and he's not going to get separation. And we still win that game if the backups just catch the passes that actually hit them in the hands

Yep

This was a rebuilding year for Bama. Maybe in another year they could have overcome it like last year. But for them to be that close still is pretty amazing. Both teams were great.

Dude Bama won a “title” last year vs Ohio State with a 7 win team and their 2nd team Dline, literally. Hell sabans vs title was because Colt McCoy got hurt and Garrett Gilbert played.

Bama fans are just making excuses

2021 is the year of the the dawgs. Apologize to no one

You’ve improved your melt-style lately.

I haven’t seen as many of the petulant melts I’ve seen in the past.

But it’s good to have you back.

We never saw a game with a 100% healthy Georgia vs a 100% healthy Bama.

It is natural to gripe about reasons for a loss and think about what might have been. We do it too, and are still griping about the offsides call from 4 years ago

Yep, this is true. There were Bama fans complaining all year about why certain highly-touted freshmen receivers were not getting more playing time. Well, we saw why Monday night. Multiple wrong routes being run, and multiple catchable passes dropped. Hopefully that performance will motivate them to up their game for the future.

Absolutely. Luck goes into every championship too though. Y’all’s injuries were early and they got healthy ours were late in the season. Anyone who tries to diminish UGAs victory because of injuries is just being a sore loser.
