i blame choctaw and joe alleva for this. Choctaw because his ingame coaching killed us in the bama game and joe alleve for not putting up a good enough fight against mike slive.

Everything is a conspiracy with them. Slive wanted UGA in the Cotton and was working to get LSU pushed out. SEC schedule conspiracies, refs, it never ends with them.

You forgot CBS and ESPN hate LSU.

New conspiracy theory:

It's no longer the Chick-Fil-A Bowl.
Slive got Lipton Tea and Krystal Burger as last minute replacement sponsors for the former "Peach Bowl". Also, no liquor will be allowed in the Georgia Dome and security will do a thorough frisking to make sure you aren't sneaking it in.

I read all this on the Tiger Rant so I have no doubt it's 1000% true.

It absolutely sucks. We'll have a week less to practice than the last few years, everyone from the acc sucks, and it's a lose/lose game for LSU.

Blow them out, meh who cares its not even in 2013 and will be forgotten.

Struggle with Clemson and you hear for 9 months how they are a powerhouse or god forbid you lose and turn into a laughing stock.

I actually think it's a pretty good matchup. Sure, we got hosed a little bit in the bowl selection, but it's not like we would have been able to pick our own bowl.

No.

And there's never been a post by a Gump where y'all didn't claim Saban was the greatest coach in the history of ever or bragging about your 8 million national titles.

it sucks, but it was self inflicted

So you're saying LSU should've LOST to A&M and USC?

WTF, that doesn't even make sense.

3 teams with identical records, one team beat the other two - yet that team winds up in the worse bowl game of the three.

To me, if it's not the MNC or the Sugar, I don't really care, but if you don't at least see some oddity there, you're just a homer.

Here's what the BR paper said this morning:

quote:

The Capital One may have even wanted the Tigers, but the SEC wanted to protect SEC Championship Game loser Georgia.

Yet in 2005 the SEC didn't care that LSU, with the exact same record, went to the Peach Bowl after losing in the SECCG.

C'mon, really?

Only fricking LSU fans even think about things like this.
I've personally never thought about it until recently. This bowl season is coming on the heels of the SEC bridge schedules. SEC scheduling has always been on a rotation, and I've enjoyed the cyclical nature of it... and I love our annual matchup with UF. But these two 'bridge' schedules for this year and next year have given certain teams a built-in advantage for Atlanta - whether on purpose or not. LSU fans feel slighted in favor of other schools.

Add on top of it, the fact that most LSU fans are also Saints fans... and many Saints fans feel slighted by the NFL this season with the unprecedented suspensions. It's all built up into some weird sense of paranoia, and each instance builds upon itself.

It's obvious that each situation mentioned above is not related to the others. But when your team keeps getting the short end of the stick, it creates a helpless feeling. It's just too bad so many of us get on here and complain like little bitches.

tl;dr.

I have yet to see a post do anything to convince me I'm wrong.

All of you are just saying omg he's a teenager or a crybaby.

Fwiw I'm neither; Some of the regular poster know this.

How in the world am I supposed to get excited about Clemson. The battle for death valley... Yeah right. They aren't on our level. This is as much of a snub as the Bama-Utah game.

Wasn't it actually after that when the SEC office started pushing the Cap1 bowl to take the loser of the SECCG?
