Who would have thought about using the phrase back to back national champs and south Carolina in the same sentence.

Maybe get to 1 first.

arkansas and south carolina are poised to take the SEC's Big 6 to the Big 8. I don't think either will win the NC this year though (or the SEC for that matter). UGA would be the one if it had to be a new team. I have yet to see them come up big under Reicht and since I have lost good money betting on them over the last five or six years, i harbor no optimism this year either.

I wanna say South Carolina, but they always lose a game they're not suppose to, so I can't do it.

I feel like people are choosing the teams they think have the best shot, not the teams that they would prefer which is what I think the OP was looking for.

South Carolina, no contest. And it doesn't seem too out of reach, either

ETA: I'd like to say Jawja, but I'd rather them not go around stealing the recruits we steal from them.

Vandy simply because it'd be a slap in the face to all of the other conferences.

I'd say Arky, most of my friends are Arky fans and they deserve a championship year for their loyalty through the nutt years.

I think for some reason he's referring to the baseball team winning back to back CWS.
