Notre Dame hates the Big 10. I don't see that ever happening. Sure, they are geographically in the footprint of the B1G but they won't ever join them.

Well we do have more history with the Aggies , UF, Alabama, Auburn , Arkansas
We just don’t want to lose all the history with these teams. I have no problem playing Ut I just hope we get to keep some of these games

I would take Notre Dame right now if they would say yes. I think they will go to the B1G, whether they hate them or not.

Agreed and understood.. which is why I think Ok State and/or Kansas will have to be added if we go to 24. No way to get to a division of 6 teams otherwise, but maybe they go with a 3-6 plan and that won’t matter, no matter the number of teams.

For those that have never lived in Virginia, Va Tech football brings more fans and eyeballs than Virginia does. Its culture fits the SEC better also and would be a natural rival for Tennessee. Charlottesville is a great town but going to a Virginia football game is boring.
